Assuming the 53 stays as is, who is inactive during Week 1? I'm going to assume that Greenard isn't ready to play (I don't think he gets back till about Week 3) and that Covey gets a PS call up to be the PR. I'm gonna go with:

1. Greenard
2. Dalton (Emergency QB)
3. Stowers
4. Bell
5. Payton

6. Morris

7. Robinson

If Greenard dresses and is full go then either Ebikete or Epenesa sit. If Greenard is on a "pitch count" I think they sit Hollywood Brown. Not b/c Moore is better than Brown, but b/c I don't think they trust Lemon quite yet (or are worried about his injury), and neither Moore nor Lemon gives any ST value.

With Goedert healthy and a full go, I would not be at all surprised to see Jenkins as one of the inactives.

Nah, he'll be a core ST guy. He was when he was on the active roster in 2024.

I'm not convinced Jenkins will even be on the 53 next week.

Highly doubt Howie keeps 4 QBs on the 53. Dalton won’t be on the roster come game 1 unless he finds a team to deal McKee too. If he does I’d expect a return about what we have up to get him … a 6th rd pick. Likely could have gotten a 4th 12-18 months ago but hard to think anything more than a 6th now.

If, God forbid, Dalton is on the roster with Mckee I'll say McKee will be inactive.

I’m inclined to think Bell’s injury status will determine this. If he is healthy I expect Bell will be active … the possibility of a blowout win increases the possibility of meaningful live snaps with the starters. That would be good for Bell’s development.

Right now my guess regarding the six Week One inactives is

Dalton

Moore

Stowers

Greenard

Robinson

Jones

Mondon is a possibility, especially if a Practice Squad player is elevated

I think everyone excelt mattwill is ignoring the fact that they don't have a punt returned. Given that, they have to elevate Covey meaning one more inactive.
