Yhonzae Pierre ( Edge / LB - Alabama ) 2027 NFL Draft

If we don't resign Nolan Smith, Pierre might be a good replacement. He's 20 pounds heavier than Smith, and basically the same size as Hunt.

4.6 40 yard

Senior

Currently ranked #9 LB prospect in 2027 draft class

2026 stats ( through 2 games ) - 4 tackles ( 2 solo ), 1 PBU, 1 sack, 1 INT ( pick 6 vs East Carolina )

2025 stats - 52 tackles ( 39 solo ), 1 PBU, 8 sacks, 3 FF,

Strengths - Quick first step, good run defender, versatile rusher and in coverage, high motor ( NFL Draft Buzz )

Weaknesses - Pass rush moves are raw, lacks "signature" pass rush move to beat linemen, currently wins more on speed than instincts.

If anyone can teach Pierre some moves, its Vic and Carter and Davis.
