Still can't really see what he did wrong.

london game. thats why

Same thing happened to his dad. A ST'er picked a fight with the starting MLB and he got ejected. 2nd verse same as the first!

Anyway, the other guy was the one at fault since he was kicking Trot Jr. and Jr. didn't even throw a punch that I saw. He should be cleared of fighting and only get a talking to about how other teams will test him to try to get him kicked out of games, so don't give in to anger, because it's a trap. That's it for from my perspective.

I approve of this decision.

Campbell is doing the same things that concerned me at Alabama. He tries to dance around contact instead of taking it head on. He needs to be more physical.

Nakobe Dean was the exact opposite. Vic could call a blitz for Dean and he would annihilate RBs who tried to block him. I don't see that from Campbell.

I am a fan of Jeremiah Trotter Jr. It's a shame he was ejected from the Jags game. Hopefully, that doesn't hurt him too much in terms of playing time. I'm excited to see him work with Baun.

Still want to see Campbell on the line. He can't cover so we might as well see if he can attack the QB.

I approve of this also.

He should be the full time starter. Take away the blitz demon aspect of his game and he is everything Nakobe was for us. Campbell can't cover, has poor instincts, and isn't a downhill thumper. I"m starting to think he was one of those guys who just got by at the college level by being a superior athlete but that isn't enough at this level.

Vic on Campbell … "played OK”. Not exactly a ringing endorsement. Thank goodness draft status isn’t keeping the wrong player on the field (at least not full time).

With Hunt out, maybe we'll see that a bit when Trotter is in.

The 2025 draft keeps getting worse

Absolutely. Rushing the passer is a premium skill. He can't cover in the passing game. Maybe he can redeem himself there

Me too. If the Eagles become sellers at the trade deadline, I can see them trading Nolan Smith which would open up a spot for Campbell as a push rusher and get Trotter into the starting lineup.

They did that with him last season and he was a complete non-factor. Campbell is either a slow developing type player or a bust.

I like Trotter and have been calling for him to get a chance. I was a little mad he did something that got him ejected when he was set to get real playing time.

As for Campbell, I think people are being a little ridiculous. Dean wasn't making plays in coverage until his 3rd season. That's a normal time line for LBs adjusting to the NFL competition. Campbell actually flashed some in coverage last year and I actually believe he'll be fine in coverage once he becomes consistent. But he's still a LB and some of the people here are acting like there's such a thing as a shutdown LB in coverage. They are almost always a mismatch to an opposing QB. Campbell's career passer rating allowed when targeted is 90.9 (on 59 targets). It's not unacceptable.

There's no "be more physical", you're either physical or you aren't and everyone under the Sun can see he does everything in his power to avoid contact.

This was simply another horrible pick by Howie, the dumb sheet should know to stay away from LBs that aren't hitters!

In fairness it took Dean 3-4 years to figure it out and ultimately became a force on D. Campbell seems to avoid contact which IMO is something that cant be taught or coached. You have that or you dont.

It’s the right decision… Trott in limited time has played well and Campbell has struggled. So it’s the right decision. But man oh man it’s making the Campbell pick look to be a bust.

Totter is the better LBer.

How so? Campbell easily made the all-rookie team last year with just 10 starts. Trotter may just be a better player at this point. That doesn't make a younger player a bust.

He's just there not making any plays. Doesn't even flash potential out there. That or its him getting beat on a pass for 10+ yards.. Losing your job to a 5th rounder in the same year you were drafted puts you on the road to being a bust.

This.

Campbell is the better athlete, though.

So, I understand why Vic wants him out there. Just need to find a position for him to utilize his skills.

Still feel like we are seeing Campbell too much out there. Right now I’m a little more worried about Coop though.
