On the day he nominates Barrett.

You think this hurts him ? I think this helps him with undecided voters who are mostly morons

I was thinking the same thing.  But it was the GOP that sued to have naked ballots thrown out.

They are assuming many dem voters this year are fearful of the virus and will use mail in, they are probably right but I think it is mostly a wash and won't hurt either party

well, they've spent the past 6 months trying to brainwash republicans into thinking that covid-19 is a big hoax & masks are for poosies. i think they expect repug voters to be more likely to vote in person.

I think it's gonna drive dem turnout that much further. There's a significant portion of the voting eligible population that does not vote in this country. It's a massive reservoir that has been challenging to tap into in every election cycle. Some candidates are very good at tapping into it (e.g. Obama) and others not so much (e.g. HRC.) Republican turnout, as a percentage of VEP, was mostly flat for their last 3 candidates, but I suspect the turnout will increase for this election just as it did for the mid-terms. Trump's super power is his divisiveness and it's had quite the polarizing effect on the electorate.

@Tnt4philly there is no equivalence between actions taken by Democrats and Republicans this election. This report lays bare the precariousness that idiots like Diehard are cheering on.

The right is priming its base to dispute any election result in which Trump does not come out on top. They already believe that if Trump loses, it must be because the Democrats cheated.

My facebook feed is full of this nonsense. And it's kind of frightening the number of people who are exhibiting cult-like behaviors here.

Even if you're illiterate, you still have a right to vote.

True, but if you vote by mail or at a polling location, do you have someone to assist you in that vote ?   Don’t know how that works.

You people are hilarious with your psychological projections and gaslighting.

I'll take "Tragic Irony" for $1000, Alex.
