Hightower didn't drop sheet, Haden played the ball perfectly and the height of the ball meant that he was going to need to defy physics to get in bounds.

Wentz wasn't the issue Today I absolutely grant you that, but it wasn't Brady throwing 500 yards and losing a Superbowl kind of not being the issue, he was adequate to eke out a win with a decent defense.

Well it’s promising in the sense that he looked improved from the trash he was putting out before. People will dismiss both of in turnovers today, but no matter how you slice it the numbers are piling up.

I agree. You know me. I’m more than willing to pass my Wentz blame, and he certainly wasn’t great in this game. He is what he is. He’s not an accurate pocket passer. He will occasionally wow you with a big play or throw, but he’s just not consistent. Ironically I felt like a lot of this second half was a lot like what the Dak haters go on and on about fluff stats. We moved the ball pretty well when the game got out of hand, but as soon as it tightened up the offense didn’t step up.

His mechanics are a problem.  Do you recall what I told you when we drafted him?  Same issues.  He had improved but has since regressed.

He’s not the reason they lost today, but I can’t say he did enough to win either. First two drives he had like one completion for negative yards and two three and outs. Still 5 consecutive scoring drives against the defense and a horrible defensive play at the end overshadow his performance.
