Right, Wentz had a receiver who was cut multiple times by multiple teams put up a huge game. If anything I think that point goes toward my argument that Wentz isn’t the problem.

Fulgham made some incredible plays. Made some really good tough catches.

I just don't like the mentality he has of letting one player dominate and not doing anything to force the offense to go to someone else. Belichick schemes to take a player away and forces teams to adjust. Schwartz just wants the players to figure it out. And, he is fine with allowing points as long as we win. I want more of the mentality of trying to limit points regardless of the score.

To be fair to Schwartz on that, Butler let Fulgham go all game, its going to be interesting to see what happens when a DC focuses on taking him out, because Ertz apparently couldn't catch COVID in the Oval office right now.

But if teams start to focus on a little on Fulgham then it'll open things up for others. So even if he's not making the catches and putting up the yards he could still be having an impact on the game.

What others? This game Wentz focused solely on one guy, he even stared him down quite a few times, DC's will spot that, I expect to see disguised coverage on Fulgham the next few weeks.

Reagor will be back in a couple of weeks I would imagine? Oh and don't forget Alshon and DeSean (SMH).

Fulgham was beating his man the entire game. Wentz did the right thing feeding the ball to Fulgham, until Pitt was forced to change defenders who covered Fulgham, very late. No one's fault. Fulgham was a surprise for Pitt and a very positive surprise for the Eagles.

Spot on. Other teams will look to take that option away in the coming weeks and perhaps they will succeed. But if they are then they might not be scheming for another receiver on this team who can then in turn step up. Based on what we saw from Fulgham yesterday I think we can be positive and hopeful for his future.

Fulgham is legit. Even if he will be taken away by other DCs, he will contribute.

The way the winds blow at the stadium are what to do with it.  Have you been there?

It wasn't windy. This isn't the Bermuda triangle ffs. Elliott screwed up. Plain and simple. Wouldn't have mattered anyway. Our secondary was trash bc of our trash DC. Think about it... look what happened last week while we had the lead. The idiot goes into the worst prevent D and let's the 9ers have a shot at winning the game. How you think we were gonna stop Pitts? Claypool was running wild on us. And he didn't think to double him. Best decision was to put a trash linebacker on him?!?!?! Stupid D coach!

I'm not quite sure to declare him legit yet. 1 huge game and a previous encouraging outing isn't quite enough of a sample size. But there are reasons to be positive and to be hopeful. He may turn out to be a good X receiver. He may turn out to be a very good depth option.

Wooow, You don't say??? You mean you're NOT supposed to but a linebacker on a WR that was torching you all game??? Wooooow what a concept....

Are you still upset that we lost the game? All I am saying is we took what the opposing defense gave us. To me, Wentz to Fulghram connection was a very positive surprise against a Very Good Defense.

I'm saying Pitts adjusted to Fulgham while our DC was a stubborn pos!

This, 100%.  As soon as the Steelers put him in the slot, it's up to Schwartz to call a timeout. Or Gerry, honestly. Know your limitations.  Step up, be a man and call a time out.  Coach, there's NO WAY I'm covering this guy. He's too fast, and a much better wide receiver than I am in coverage.  As evidenced by the THREE touchdowns he's already scored.

Also, Elliott has been money from deep.  It was definitely long enough and it wasn't like it got caught in the wind. He just pushed it a bit right. The ball didn't have some crazy movement in the air.

Even the guys body language reeks of (in a good way) "I am a good NFL WR- you can't stop me". Gotta love that, because no other WR on the teams shows that kind of swag. And that swag usually becomes contagious, too.

What I really liked about him is the way he goes after the ball. He doesn't wait for the ball to come to him, he doesn't wait for the ball to hit him, he goes up there and snags it. That kind of attitude will be a huge asset in the NFL.

YES, he SNAGS the ball out of the air, like an EAGLE snatching a rabbit.

I see no chance he’s back when his contract is up. I hope the owner cleans house and dumps that GM too.

This is the last year of Schwartz' contract so I doubt they plan to keep him beyond this year.  Yeah Howie needs to accept that he is not a draft guru.
