Like to start a thread on our new board for all those folks we need to thank.   Our health care workers, grocery store workers, anyone involved in keeping the commerce moving, and to parents of young children who have had their worlds turned up side down with their routines.  Early education is so important.   Thank you to all the older students too who has adapted to being home for now and adapted to learning on line.  We shall have another thread for all of those who are missing their proms and graduation ceremonies.

I'm trying to do work while my daughter is here. She has been taking Mr. Di to treatments this week, sitting outside in the car on calls.  She is a teacher and is a reading specialist which means she doesn't teach in a classroom setting but in groups. K thru 2.  Since the lockdown it is an administrative nightmare in her particular district, or is she just too head strong?   I can't get her to stop working.  She is a google sheet guru, is so dedicated and has the skills and ambition from what she has learned to help these children learn to READ!  I always tell her keep your eye on the ball, teaching the kids to read, and don't let these other teachers get in the way of your goal.   She takes it personally once in a while, but not all the time. She's forever taking it from all sides.   You have never seen a young adult so dedicated to keeping track of data, being hands on, to being thrown out of the building by the janitor and being reported to the union, my God.  Anyway, from what I'm hearing from my laptop office in the kitchen, I am proud of her and she is one test away from certification of being a principal.  I don't know that she wants that, she just wants the kids to have the skills they need to be able to read and write.  She wants to support each and every classroom teacher in her school.  Like Mr. Di, she will not stop!

Thank you to the dedicated teachers and parents of the worlds, keeping the youngins' engaged and safe.    I would be going crazy!!   Bless you all
