The Eagles winning the SB was a great thing, but then the hubris and stupidity set in.  It's affected the FO, coaches and starting QB.

So we bench Wentz and Hurts come in. Let's say he plays great. Then what? Bench Wentz for the season? Not with that contract.

Trade him? Not with that contract.

Wentz will probably come out and light it up the second half so that he can keep his job another week or two.

Man there isn't much more embarrassing than losing to the Cowboys with a third string QB. We should be destroying this team and yet thanks to three TO's and a refusal to punt we're losing. Their offensive can't move the ball so we give them short fields? Punt the F'ing ball.

It's coming up on 3am here in the UK and I have to get up to get ready for work in a little over 3 hrs and at this point I have no clue why I stayed up to watch this game.

Its bad, but not entertainingly bad, just bad. We're losing to a team playing their third string QB who has 7 completions at the half. Every time you think this team has hit bottom you realise they just hit a landing in the middle of the staircase and there's another level down yet.

The cowboys defence had 3 turnovers in 7 games. They doubled tally in a half of football against us.

When I look at Wentz a name comes to my mind and it's terrifying: David Carr.  All the promise in the world, but accumulated injuries, shaky confidence, and an organization that let him down saw Carr ending his career as a shot quarterback surrounding by "what ifs."

 

There's zero excuse for Wentz' terrible performance in the 1st half. 

He's capable of better, we've seen better, and he may have another good 4th quarter. But the decision making is getting ridiculous.

wentz is toast for sure, but hurts wont do any better, except for a few good runs, we need to draft a qb next year, this year is pretty much over for eagles fans,

Wentz is like Viagra for bad defenses.

It’s sad that he still doesn’t k ow when to just throw the ball away. Half of his hits and turnovers could be prevented if he just stopped forcing everything.

Carson Wentz is losing this game for his team. He should play better and smarter than this.
