I can't believe Reagor only had 22 total yards. Seemed like more.

I think it's because those yards came early. I think 16 of those yards came in the first quarter.

Could have been. Plus his TD was very short but it was a TD so my excitement was high.  Our boy looked good out there.

At this point, I think the reprimand starts and ends in house, but in front of every player. Nobody is safely above reproach, and none of them should feel they are. A public benching isn't necessary. We don't need to see the message, the players do.

Now, if Carson loses his mind and decides he's the end all, be all of football, then yeah, demote him. I don't think he would do that, but I also don't think anyone is being his boss right now. Carson needs to answer to somebody, and that somebody has to be in favor of more than admissions of responsibility, he has to be in favor of imposing real consequences.

I just feel that somebody on this coaching staff needs to grab Carson by the collar and explain in no uncertain terms that to straighten him out, he will do as he is told starting right now, period.

His overall performance this season screams to me that he needs more guidance, not more autonomy.

Completely agree with you. The TD catch was a nice play by Reagor, good throw by Wentz and then Reagor showed that physicality to get it across the goal line (just). And then the big catch on 3rd down where he caught the ball and immediately managed to avoid a big hit and then pick up the first down.

TJ Edwards was a bright spot. He played very with energy all game.

You and I are in agreement.

Duh Pederson should have benched him last night for a series but Carson is above reproach.  Carson’s issues begin with his ego.  Flip got the best out of him but it meant that Carson had to hear criticism.  Wentz likes to exude this outdoorsman, rugged hunter persona, but he is obviously a big snowflake. He couldn’t handle a stern coach with a sharp critique and some coarse language, so Flip was never re-hired.

Its amazing what 132 million will do.  We thought he was this humble, team first guy.  Wentz is a fraud.

It is again hard to argue against this.

Pederson should have pulled Wentz after the third turnover and certainly the fourth. A message needs to get sent and they need to get through to this guy that what he is producing on the field is wholly unacceptable. If there were a game next weekend I'd bench him without hesitation.

Well we are... I mean we are in a horrible division that completely stinks. We have 3 wins and 2 of those have come against our division rivals. We have a schedule coming up that pits us against teams in other divisions and with winning records and yet we are very likely to win the division.

probably the least satisfying win over the cowboys in my lifetime.

Right. We won but we didn't murder them. A homicide would made me feel better about it.

the score would of been worse than it was if reagor catches that TD at the end of the game

It does seem that there isn't strong accountability.  A player should be very upset with himself over 4 turnovers, and Wentz' answer was that he's going to keep pulling the trigger and it's not in his nature to hesitate.  I think you're right that coaches need to get more strict on a player and say you know what, you can't do that you have to make smarter decisions.  Instead Doug keeps saying that Carson is aggressive and a great playmaker and he knows he can't turn the ball over...well Doug, he's leading the league in turnovers along with a rookie QB.  So you can't just shrug and say he's aggressive.  If he were also making a lot of great plays and the team were winning maybe you put up with some level of turnovers and some erratic play but it's been too much.  And he's a 5th year player.  It's not just a game or 2 it's consistent.

I'm wondering if Doug and the coaches are afraid to hold Wentz accountable because of Howie.  There's a history of some star players who get into squabbles with coaches and then coaches get canned by GMs when they try to control the star player.  Howie has a lot riding on Wentz.

Maybe Carson just doesn't listen for whatever reason.  Reich said as much a few years back.

My 24 hrs. of post game reflection isn't over yet. That should've been a 35-0 whooping of a terrible Dallas team. Instead the Eagles trailed at halftime??? Unbelievable.

It should of been, but this team isn't good enough to beat them 35-0. Coming from behind to eek out an ugly win is all we can hope for at this point.

Ben DiNucci finished with a better passer rating (64.6) than Wentz (61.2) and didn't even score a TD. That is outright embarrassing.

The defense bailed out this team big time last night.

Wentz's turnovers are mostly on him and for the most part avoidable. The first INT where he got pressured from the pocket might be excusable as a good defensive play by the Cowboys, but that second INT and the two fumbles are definitely all his fault for trying to make a play that isn't there.

Wentz' mechanics are horrible, his decision making is arguably even worse. Sure he has the physical tools but he's stubborn and uncoachable. He's football Dominic Brown. Time to move on. See what Hurts is and figure out if we have to draft a QB next year.

Don't get your hopes up. They aren't moving on him Wentz any time soon.

They didn't draft Hurts because they think Wentz is all that. Doug sees how bad Wentz is. Hurts was drafted to be Wetnz' replacement.

Do you really think that though? I really don't.
