The team is cursed. Peppers gets flagged for a low hit, but it looks like he was blocked to the ground. Either way, it doesn’t make up for Allen’s mangled leg .

Alex Smith is in the game.

OK, so who here is nervous as hell with the idea that Alex Smith is now going to start for the rest of this season for the football team?  After what he's gone through you can't help but root for the guy.  I'm not sure that leg can take another major injury, though.

Sounds like the fracture itself was not as severe as Daks, which is good for him.

He looked very skittish in the pocket. He looked like he was seeing ghosts out there. Injury like that is gonna take awhile to not get worried about getting crushed in the pocket like that again.
