Hurts has the benefit of watching Wentz fail. There's a lot of mistakes being made he can learn from. There's something fundamentally wrong with Wentz, and unlike some other QBs we've had, Wentz hasn't developed the skill to hide it too well. Wentz has to be reinvented at this point. He's worse than most backups at this point. He may have suffered from some of these concussions in a more profound way. He can heal, but he is not right at this point.

This team has almost no options with Wentz except to watch him fail, and then watch the coaches get fired. Doug seems to be content with that. 

Lurie is looking for a coach. Lincoln Riley is a candidate by default. What the Eagles TEAM needs to do right now, is to see if that 2nd round investment is WORTH looking at Riley. That's what the TEAM needs to do. But we're preoccupied watching the  sinking of the SS Wentz-Pederson.

Doug either has to bench Wentz or Howie needs to be fired if he is the one who is ordering that Wentz can't be benched. But, how can you tell the other 52 players on the team that they need to do their job and you allow the QB to continuously do things to give the team no chance to win?  They gave Wentz several games to show progress including the bye week and there is no progress at all.

Well they are right. I mean we all watch the game and we and most people including the radio broadcasters can’t all be wrong in what we are seeing.
