Wentz won't win any of those games though, so why wouldn't you let the kid play? If you have no chance with Wentz, then why not let the kid learn and at least show whether or not he has some potential? And, if he isn't ready, then activate Sudfeld. If Sudfeld isn't capable of stepping in for a game or two, then why is he on this roster for years?

Well, about 1.5 of those seasons were lost due to injury and he was known as somewhat raw coming out of college. Some guys just take mire seasoning and  develop later, I believe it's called the Brandon Graham Phenomenon.

TBH, even though I predicted 4-12 at the beginning of the season, it's pretty damn dissapointing to watch Wentz regress SO MUCH within a 9-game span 

I honestly think Lurie is going to have to get involved and make some hard decisions over the next few weeks.

Lurie is looking for a coach. Lincoln Riley is a candidate by default. What the Eagles TEAM needs to do right now, is to see if that 2nd round investment is WORTH looking at Riley. That's what the TEAM needs to do. But we're preoccupied watching the  sinking of the SS Wentz-Pederson.

There are obvious issues with the O-line here, but I've noticed that lately is that Wentz is mostly targeting his TE (Rodgers) and when he tries to throw something that isn't a safety-blanket pass to one of his wide receivers, it is widely inaccurate.

pipe dream though...Jets are still winless aren't they?...besides what makes you think Howie would even draft Lawrence if he was there? My guess is that he would trade ...and draft "Projects" instead

Yeah, I hate to say it but I’m starting to believe that Wentz has hit his ceiling. He doesn’t seem to learn from any of his mistakes. It’s either that or he’s lazy.

You're very likely right. But the way this is all going I'm not sure Howie will be around.

Because they should understand that getting one's feet wet isn't just about playing time. It's about trying to have some success in the process. Wentz is already screwed. With Hurts, who knows? Maybe he's ok with a normal offseason, but I doubt he gets more than the spot play he's been getting aside from Wentz getting hurt.
