Kyle Dugger (Lenoir-Rhyne S) -- drafted by Patriots

When you talk about taking a D2 prospect whom you have aspirations of being a starter, you need to see them consistently dominate. His size and limited playing time in high school limited his offers for college programs, but by all accounts he has made the most of it at little old Lenoir-Rhyne (i am from the area, it is tiny). Depending on our needs and who else is on the board I would not see it as a reach to take a guy like Kyle late in R2

Something is making me think you want a safety in this draft in round 2. IDK just a hint

lol maybe 😏

Linebacker or safety once we get a legit weapon and I will be happy. (unless a gifted pas rusher drops)

All aboard the Dugger train.

Second or third round though?

I'm not sold on him. He looks like a man playing against kids.

Just not feeling this guy. Didn't really play against much talent out there. I think a team that has more depth and can bring him along would be a better fit.

I agree in my mind he is a year 2 starter... There are other safeties I would take first, but I like his potential a lot

Tweener Safety from small school.  Him and Chinn are extremely enticing projects but you don't draft them unless your DC is banging the table because he knows exactly what he wants to do with them.  I have a hard time thinking this is what Schwartz wants in his SS by design.

He's an athlete and he hits hard. I like that in him.

Good versatile piece from a small school that people are sleeping on. He’d be a great addition.
