Why wouldn’t we ? Saints a good team and we dismantling them and the 9 game streak..... we would be up more if not for a missed FG too. You probably doubted Foles I’m sure in 2017 and said the same thing lol

maybe its crack you're on

Have the eagles had a lead going into the half this season? I can think of 2 close games had Elliot made his FG's eagles might of won.

not tooooo bad....

hurts is accurate enough and more importantly, makes smart decisions. that's all it takes. no stupid red zone interceptions or game-changing fumbles/ints or any other foolishness. breath of fresh air.

As a Wentz fan who agreed that he needed to be benched, I will say the whole team is playing better with Hurts right now. Hurts is not holding the ball forever, not turning it over and making much faster decisions. He had one rookie mental lapse and didn't get out of bounds to save some clock, but he is is a rook playing against the best D in the league, so I'll overlook that one. Hurts is doing very well. If he continues to play this way the rest of the game, start him again next week. It's really that simple. Even the D seems to be playing for him.

Elliott makes me understand why Doug goes for it so much.

Hurt's reaction time is quicker than Carson's

I think Carson is either having trouble processing due to the head injury from the Clowney hit or he has PTSD from all the injuries. But, no matter what, he isn't processing things on the field. He is holding the ball and being indecisive.  Hurts is being decisive.

I don't know why Elliott felt he had to power kick that ball. It's a 22 yarder. You don't have to kick it that hard.  That's why he hooked it. Just kick it straight. He lacks judgment.

The fool probably saw Lutz miss his kick on the same side and saw he has to hit it hard so the wind won't mess with it. Who knows. Maybe he's Luries rat in the team as he wants a top 5 pick :)

Hurts has been impressive tho. He uses his mobility in a smart way while still looking down the field. I'm intrigued.

Hey now. You're talking about the defending SEC special teams player of the week! Lol

That’s my point. No kicker misses a 22 yd automatic chip shot. Especially in the NFL it’s inexcusable

I think this was what we all wanted: for Hurts at the very least to go out there and manage the game. WHO KNEW that the entire offense would wake up?? Someone said earlier, it is criminal that Sanders does not have more touches. I am pleased with Hurts so far not making any mistakes and making fast, good decisions....all in all, good first half of football but....

WHY is Jake Elliott still on this football team????

Howie stinks. Think about this for a moment. The Eagles almost scored twice inside of two minutes. Elliott ruined that.

They can’t even cut him.

THE story of the game, the EAGLES DEFENSE. Where were they?

Go for 2 the rest of the year.

Yup. Hes making the oline play better. Its the same reason why Wilson has been successful for so many years with below average oline.

Miles for 6.

107 New Orleans yards in the first half. Repeat that and the Eagles will win.

He is one of the MAIN problems...he has to go.....there is just no other way for him to go....he has created this mess of a football team...

The Giants left the door open and the Eagles still have a game against Dallas and Washington. They’re not out of this.... I don’t know how happy I am about that, but we will see how it goes.

I don't think I'm happy about it but then if we see this team the next 3 and a half games?

Horrible move by Howie committing that much to a kicker that’s been streaky his whole time as an Eagle.

Agreed, some of contracts put us in a terrible position to add better talent to the game when needed. Good football teams don’t keep streaky kickers on the field.

Let’s just keep the clock rolling.
