Hurts is starting next week, barring a mid week injury.

Duke Riley with the INT and onside kick recovery.

And there's the Alabama Hurts I know. He's an outstanding RB and very explosive. He can make plays that will make your head spin. But he isn't a QB.

Thanks Coach!

I seem to remember another big play that he made.

Offense is still very vanilla and very suspect...all the throws that hurts was supposed to but had to run because the oline didn’t hold up and the receivers weren’t getting open, glad hurts looks good but dougs offense is still crap.

With another week of practice, I expect the playbook to get bigger next week.

He better! Hurts was impressive today. Not sensational. Not incredible. But he was good.

For his 1st NFL start against the best defense in the league, he played extremely well.  If it wasn't for the fumble it would have been an exceptional performance.

Wow! It’s so much easier to keep using the run when the offense has the lead and isn’t spending the entire first half doing nothing but getting three and outs cause the quarterback can’t hit a 5 yard pass.

You mean we are going to continue to ignore the Carson shaped elephant in the room? OK good to know.

No no Wentz has been terrible all year but this games proves that Doug is also a big issue. We had more rushing attempts than passing attempts. Sticking with the run unlike he did all season is an issue.  Again I wanted to change QBs and saw enough of hurts that I want to see more but he doesn’t dissolve Doug of the terrible offensive game plan he put together all the other weeks

He's not. Over 100 yards rushing. Outstanding. Impressive. The passing? Meh. That's exactly him. Weak arm. Can't throw it downfield. He can make cute little outlet throws and passes under 10 down the middle on a RPO. That's his ceiling.

well all already know Wentz's ceiling, so I'll gladly take all the above without the league leading sacks and INT's

I think a 3rd down tackle? Yes he made other good plays.

Overall I didn’t like the call. Why out the ball in his hands there? Why not give it to one of the backs? Nice time for Howard I would think.

Lets be fair here. They also had games where Sanders ripped off big runs and was never seen for the rest of the half or the game.

Or constant turnovers and negative plays, does wonders when you cut down on those.

And how many of those Wentz kill kill plays is from a run to a pass?

Hats off. Kid absolutely proved me wrong so far.

He needs to keep it up. At some point, teams are going to adjust and he won't he able to continue to run.

Good win. Beat the Cards next.

That fumble was his only blemish in the game and it happened late in the 4th qtr. I say it was an excellent performance on his 1st start. Wentz could never have a game like this this year. Hats off to the kid against the hottest team in the league and the no 1 defense. What a fantastic win

What can't be denied is that this team fought hard today and made plays. Against a very good Saints team.

I guess it's hard to throw an interception when the ball didn't travel more than five yards in the air. Still knows how to fumble though huh?

He fumbled and should've been picked twice, once for a TD.

He played great, but he was also extremely lucky with some plays.

Wait wait wait...when’s the last time we beat the Saints? How long has it been?

Previous times were 2007 and 2015.

So now we are blaming wentz for the play calling?  We heard nothing about that for 13 weeks now it’s wentz checking out of all runs that is a reach
