Lets be fair here. They also had games where Sanders ripped off big runs and was never seen for the rest of the half or the game.

We’re they winning those games? I don’t recall. With that being the case the kid moved the sticks with his arm and his legs. He kept drives moving and sustained. You can’t sustain anything with turnovers, sacks, and three and outs.

Wait so hurts just beat a 10-2 team with all the teammates who were to blame for Wentz being horrible

Wow! It’s so much easier to keep using the run when the offense has the lead and isn’t spending the entire first half doing nothing but getting three and outs cause the quarterback can’t hit a 5 yard pass.

Reading this board its is clear that some like yourself understand the game.....then there are others like Uscg-Yellow who think they are the smartest in the room yet get owned constantly. Even more amazing, in the face of absolute evidence and proof that their viewpoints are garbage, these same types still plow away with idiotic posts and nonsensical remarks.

I guess it's hard to throw an interception when the ball didn't travel more than five yards in the air. Still knows how to fumble though huh?

Look you can try and argue this one as much as you like. The reality is, Hurts played a real good game. And to tell the truth I think the biggest thing to come out of this game is that perhaps Wentz is the issue! And not just on the field.

Zero sacks allowed?

For his 1st NFL start against the best defense in the league, he played extremely well.  If it wasn't for the fumble it would have been an exceptional performance.

Wouldn’t go that far.  Only completed 56% of his passes.

Jeez, we went from picking 5th after the Dallas win to 9th with that win. That really sucks.

The real reason they won: inside information.

So now we are blaming wentz for the play calling?  We heard nothing about that for 13 weeks now it’s wentz checking out of all runs that is a reach

No I'm just asking the question that's all. You can't deny that this offense operated better tonight without Wentz under center.

And how many of those Wentz kill kill plays is from a run to a pass?

Not many actually. They had a stat up a few weeks ago with a break down. it was a crazy number too, something like 75+% of his audibles was actually a run he audibles to. It was actually very rare that he called out the "Kill Kill Kill" and it was a pass play when he snapped.

WOW. They won. SMFH.

I agree I'm just saying there was plenty of games where we were at least in the game and they didn't bother to dial up a run when Sanders was lighting it up.

I don't like Hurts. That's just the way it is. I think he would be a fantastic RB. I don't like the running only pass as a last resort QB type everyone loves. Hell Lamar is already figured out in year 2.  I like a guy that can hang in a pocket and Chuck it downfield. Hurts isn't that. To each their own.

Saw Wentz and Sudfield sitting together looking at the Ipad disecting plays with Hurts sitting by himself looking at his Ipad... Hmmm Wentz is hating this.....

It doesn’t even matter with Howie claiming the player. He will still blow it so just be happy with a much needed and deserved win

I sure the apologists won’t give the kid any credit though.

You need to walk away from the stats and start paying better attention to games.

Any offense operates better when you run the 36 times for 250 yards.  I thought Hurts was solid this game going to be interesting to see him going forward.

They can't, they'll be kicked out of the cult if they do.

And that's absolutely fine. I'm not declaring Hurts is the answer. I thought he played a really good game tonight but I'm also not sure he's the answer. This is more about Wentz though and that guy is an issue.

They might have a locker room problem. The whole team played well today but when Wentz is starting no one shows up. This team constantly rallies behind the backup QB but can’t do anything right when the starter is in there.

It’s a double edge sword. They didn’t pay Carson to hand the ball off to Sanders all game. This season would have been much different even with all the issues if the quarterback were more consistent.

Hurts first start destroyed McNabb first start vs the Cowboys.

Mcnabb was 110 yard passing, 60 rushing and 1 td ? Hoping Hurts can replicate a bit of No.5 career wise except for the Superbowl bit
