Not many actually. They had a stat up a few weeks ago with a break down. it was a crazy number too, something like 75+% of his audibles was actually a run he audibles to. It was actually very rare that he called out the "Kill Kill Kill" and it was a pass play when he snapped.

Because he’s scared.

I said this last week and ill say it again....

With the way our WRs take forever to get open, and the way our oline is crap. Hurts is the perfect QB for this team. Today has proved that.

I don't care that he doesn't go deep (even though I think he can), dink and dunk, with a run game controls the clock. Add in scoring, and this was our 2017 recipe.

When Wentz has played i have always yelled at the TV ruuuuuuuun!!! Hurts does it right when I think it. He throws the balls away! And my chin dropped to the floor when I saw him slide feet first... what a concept.

Wait so hurts just beat a 10-2 team with all the teammates who were to blame for Wentz being horrible

How many times did hurts run when it was supposed to be a pass? Oline is still crap receivers are still not getting open and are running long drawn out routes, there’s a lot to go around in blame for this season..but Doug takes the cake...

Finally calling more than 10 run plays in a game and tonite we get the win...that plays more of a factor than hurts’ performance...

glad hurts is capable back up, wentz is still far better, just not as mobile. Great win

You need to walk away from the stats and start paying better attention to games.

He played well, wouldnt go as far as exceptional.

Key was it was nice to see Doug finally give us what we asked him for all year in consistently running the ball, using the RPO and using the roll out. Sanders big run was a game changer. Plus the fact our defense stepped up. This was a good all around "team" win. Good job for them, showing they have something to fight for.

And that's absolutely fine. I'm not declaring Hurts is the answer. I thought he played a really good game tonight but I'm also not sure he's the answer. This is more about Wentz though and that guy is an issue.

If nothing else this game proves Caron’s been a big issue with this offense. Hurts wasn’t outstanding today, but he still won. He didn’t try and play hero ball. He took what the defense gave him, didn’t take bad sacks, and moved the football. Carson throwing into double coverage and getting intercepted helps no one on the roster.

Hurts played well enough to start again. If you disagree with this, you have Hurts derangement syndrome.

What evidence do you have to support this claim

Bingo. He played a good game. A very good game when considering it was his debut and he was going against a very good defense. A defense who were allowing 9.8 ppg the last 3 weeks. The shocking thing for me was that this whole team seemed to rally in a way we have not seen all year.

If your oline was swiss cheese, you are the most pressured, sacked and hurried QB and your coach is a moron and wont help you out in the play calling you would be scared as well, lol.

It was very good in the sense that it was hist FIRST NFL START against the best defense in the league.  That's why it's impressive.

Had he been a 2 year veteran against an average defense, then it still would have been a good game, just not as "impressive".

Heard a lot of betters picked the Eagles here. This game was kind of a trap game for the Saints with the Chiefs looming. This was also their 3rd road game. Many people had the Eagles winning this outright.

I watched the entire game.  I watch more football then 90% of this board.  Glad you are happy.  Howie is 1-0 in his quest to be back in full control next year.

Unlike your credibility 😆

Incidentally don't you have to go run to the mods to report everyone being mean to you again?

3 NFC East teams won today.

Nfce is on a roll last couple of weeks. The Giants beat the Seahawks, WFT beat the undefeated Steelers, The Eagles defeated the 10 win Saints and the Cowboys beat the Bungles!! :)

Doug dances around the question as to whether Hurts should start next week. Wanted to give everyone else credit.

So Wentz is better than hurts right now because of what he did in 2017.

cool.

Wonder why Hurts wasn’t scared. 🤷‍♂️

That's fine because I'm sure Hurts is happy for everyone to take a share of the credit. I think he's one of those team guys.

In most situations when a QB gets a first start they have a better chance at success due to the fact the teams dont have much tape on them. I pretty much called exactly his numbers in another threat. I was just off on his QB rating, I said around the 70 range where he pulled in a 83. I usually expect first time QBs to do well.

Hurts played a good game, especially for a rookie.  I was happy to see it.  I still don't like Doug's offense overall and the WRs aren't getting the separation needed.  Saint D is top notch though and they have 3 really good corners.

Sucks to lose the higher draft pick but I don't cheer for the Eagles to lose.  I still want Howie gone more than anything.

Oh no. Credibility on a internet message board? Sort of a little sad you think that is important. Oh well. Wish you the best now.

Cause he can run.  But just like Lamar Jackson, that gets figured out.
