Doug is almost sounding like he wants to go back to Wentz. Not giving Jalen much credit.

All in all a pretty good game and I was satisfied with what I saw. We saw what Hurts can do and yes, let him just run the offense for the rest of the season....it is, however, the same things we also saw during the season:

Playcalling still absolutely sucks....the line can't even hold up for three frickin seconds before someone is in the QB's face....

Gym Shorts defense still sucks...I have never wanted that bastid here and I still don't.....

The playcalling still absolutely sucks...doug went right back to those slow developing plays and oh geez, look....the offense completely stalled....

Jalen Mills sucks and should not be a starter on anyone's team....but the entire secondary sucks big monkey balls....throw the whole defense away...

I thought Reagor was supposed to be this speed guy??

At least we saw that the entire team rallied behind Hurts....wonder why it wasn't like that with Wentz?...hmmm....we may never know....

I am starting to like Goedert over Ertz....he will fight for more yards instead of going down immediately....

Doug called a much better game to help his QB out. RPO's, roll outs, consistent run game. Not sure why but Doug did the same for Foles but wont put that type of game plan for Wentz when all year everyone asked for it.

But do we know Doug didn't do those things? I mean how do we know that Wentz didn't change it or just take a different approach after the snap? There's a reason why this team plays harder when he's not out there. There's a reason this offense executes better.

Well when your QB doesn't put you in a hole early, you can run the ball more. Also helps when his own runs account for half those yards...

I counted two throws today that I would call inaccurate. Other than that he threw the ball well. So not sure where all this "can only run" talk is coming from.

There is NOTHING Wentz did well this year. RPO requires making decisions... something Wentz has struggled with. Why the hell do you think that would be a good idea?

Ok, and a huge part of that is the offense not constantly going 3 and out gave the defense some rest.

Wentz actually had great success with the RPO in previous years. This year they took it completely out of the playbook for Wentz.

Again, there has to be a reason. They aren't going to just not run plays if they work. It's very possible that Wentz doesn't like those plays.

Maybe cause Carson is injury prone? Maybe cause Carson has struggled to make accurate throws most of the season? Maybe cause Carson would rather throw it into triple coverage than hit the back in the flat? All I know is Hurts played with the same bad line Carson has dealt with, but the Eagles moved the football. Suddenly Doug can game plan, but for years with Carson he’s just a dope. Yeah it’s everyone but Carson still. 🙄

amazing how much better they can be when they’re not on the field the entire game.

Carson is a mobile QB, Hurts is a RB playing QB.
