No Devonta Smith? Oh boy I'm super happy we won a meaningless game. Yippee.

Yup. I was rooting for the eagles and hurts to play well and lose but they managed to play well and win and for what?

The higher draft picks have more value than a meaningless win

I hope not. Who would want that twig of a WR on their team? How many Pinkstons does this team have to be cursed with?

He's the best player in college football. An absolute game changer lol. He makes Mac Jones look like Tom frickin Brady. But fill in whatever blank you want and the point is we aren't getting it now.

I agree then what does one do with Wentz, a 35 million dollar backup doesn't help

The Eagles simply have to live with that decision, we have a 35 million dollar backup, you don't bench Hurts because of Howie's bad decision.

It's not gonna happen lol. Especially if Howie and Doug stay. Carson is going to be given every opportunity to get his head straight this offseason and the job will be his to lose.

The thing with those frail guys like D-Jax and Pinkston are one big hit and he's done for the year. 6'1" and 174 lbs won't cut it on a weekly basis in the NFL. Can he run block? He's gonna have to in the league.

And he's gonna lose it before opening day.

Enjoy them while they last cause it gets figured out really quickly.

I thought you were an Eagles fan. You didn’t enjoy this win?

Jalen Hurts praises his offensive line for this game. How ironic.

Maybe? Who knows.

I know that was directed elsewhere, but I enjoyed the hell out of that win.  Even though it probably impacts draft position, I HATE losing ... especially to NO and Seattle (outside the division).

They actually think that they will just go oh well let's pay him 35 mil to sit on the bench lol. Carson is going to be given ever opportunity to start next year no matter what Hurts does right now.

But it's not. And because of that he will be given ever opportunity to start next year.

Howie can be pretty creative when it suits him. I wouldn't be surprised to see a trade. Actually I hope Howie isn't around to be responsible for personnel moves but I'm afraid that's a wish too far.

A win that took us from a top five game changer pick to just a good pick? A win that goes to that pick being made by Howie? Were you not all about him getting the boot? Did I enjoy seeing Jenkins flat on his face? Of course. Enjoy beating the Saints in a trap game? Sure. But it really doesn't help.

For some reason Doug doesn’t stick to Wentz’ strengths. How many times does wentz roll out of the pocket a game? That’s where he is great at. Doug doesn’t do that enough he keeps him in the pocket where he struggles. Yet we see Hurts roll out 80 percent of his snaps at least and he played better in the pocket. They are both mobile but for some reason Doug doesn’t use Wentz to his strengths. It shows me there’s something going on to where this organization is done with him

Well Carson has to do better with winning in the pocket. We were told he can "run the entire playbook” for sometime now, but now we are begging for it to be severely limited. Let’s be honest. The Eagles could quickly be shut down if Carson just rolled out every play too. Let’s get a little more honest. Carson this season hasn’t been perfect rolling out this year either. I think they have tried to help Carson. He’s just lost his mojo this year. He’s struggling and I don’t know if can be fixed by anyone. At least no one here in Philly.

Speaking of Devonta Smith, Reagor was a bad pick, I can't believe he could catch up with that pass on the left sideline, dude is slow!!

Reagor wasn't a horrible pick but Jefferson was the right pick there. He might win ROY.

What if Wentz agrees to renegotiate his contract to open the door for a trade to a QB needy team (Indy)?

That's the most likely scenario for a trade IMO. Contracts are not immutable things.

I’m pretty vexed overall about this, but I’m not going to be upset over a win. Heck they’re technically still in the playoff hunt too. If Hurts gets them to the playoffs I’m not mad about it. Like I mentioned to you earlier. Nothing will change if Howie’s making the picks.

Last year we were ballyhooing over Carson beating trash NFC East teams that all fired their coaches. Those same people want to downplay Hurts in his first start beating a Super Bowl contender.

If the whatever you wanna call thems had lost today I would say the division was still in reach.

They aren't winning a SB with their QB.

Drew Brees will be back, but Hill prior to this game won three straight. I don’t care how you try to downplay it, but Wentz would not have beaten this team.

There’s no doubt Wentz has issues in the pocket more so than he has his entire career this year and I really think his mentality and confidence is beyond shot but also he can’t be coached to fix it, whether he’s hard headed or he complains too much but who knows. What he had with Reich was special but ever since then he’s been ruined by this organization. I do believe he can be successful in this league but for whatever reason he won’t be in this one anymore. If he doesn’t improve next year then you have to find a way to move on. He needs a fresh start

complete moron

Rookie QB? First NFL start? Top NFL defense?

I don't know how much better his debut could have gone. Obviously, we need a bigger sample size but I'd say he hit this one out of the stadium.

Oh, and it was fun to watch.

Exactly we would have lost 24-3

Well I hope one of these genius quarterback guru coaches get into a bidding war and take him off the Eagles hands. I think it’s in the best interest for both sides to part ways.
