What's the REAL reason some of you didn't want him to win and are downplaying this game from Hurts??? No one who calls himself a fan would ever NOT root for whoever is under center for our beloved Eagles....we are supposed to stick with them, good or bad.....that, at least in my opinion, is being an actual fan of the team...

They’re probably going to need help to make the playoffs. All that matters is they just do what they need to do. I’m more excited to watch this team right now then I have been for two months.

I am one of the ones rooting for Hurts, but I’m not going to let some jagoff sit here and insinuate the people who still want Wentz are doing so because of skin color. The Eagles very well may have had the most African-American starting QBs in history. Eagles fans DO NOT care what color they are, as long as they wear green. Wow Dan Klecko just dropped a bombshell on the radio. He just said there were certain people in the Eagles organization that were a little upset with Wentz taking himself out of that playoff game. That’s actually very messed up if it’s true.

In most cases I’d agree with you. However with how terrible out oline has been this year, Hurts ability to run is going to lead to more positive plays than Wentz standing in the pocket, just waiting to be sacked. 
 

Long term id like a QB that can read a defense and win from the pocket and make all of the throws. But we don’t have that on the roster right now. 
 

Hurts did well in his first start against the top defense in the NFL, and got the win. Don’t be upset about that. Be happy for a win.

You talking about the last years playoff game? That wasn't Wentz. Players can't go back if they have concussions even if they want to. It's against the rules.

Hurts looked good. At the end of the day though the offense is still poor compared to 2017. Big plays were still few and far in between, and the WRs continued to be an issue. 
 

The NFC East is still winnable. We’ll see if the Eagles can do what they’ve done the past two years and go on a run to sneak in.

I think in Hurts the Eagles have a guy who is willing to learn, can win from the pocket, and use his legs if he needs to. He made decisive throws, took shots, but still made the throws. He got rid of the football. He didn’t take bad sacks. Heck he didn’t get sacked at all! This guy kind of felt like very early Russell Wilson.

He had a concussion. It's impossible to pull yourself out of a game if you have a concussion. The league wont let you play. It's not up to the player is what I was saying.

Me asking what the real reason is, is most certainly not saying its racism just because I used certain words. You didn't call out a thing...you ASSUMED his skin color.....thats all you sunshine. No one knew Carson had a concussion except Carson. No one realized it was even a bad hit until after the fact. People were shocked he went into the locker room. He told everyone he wasn’t right and that’s why he got checked out. Look Ronnie Lott cut his finger off to stay in a game. Back in the day people used to hide their concussions to stay in games. It was his first playoff game and he came out of it. The old machismo way I could understand why anyone would be upset with Carson for pulling himself, but knowing what we know today about concussions the mentality is stupid. Carson did the right thing pulling himself. Frankly Josh McCown should have left that game too with his injury.

I’ll say it again kid...you clearly asked those questions I quoted with a preconceived notion in your head. So why do YOU think there are some out there not rooting for Hurts?  I have no hate or disgust for him, I wore his Sooners jersey today watching the game. My dad went to Oklahoma and I’m a big fan of Hurts. So don’t lump me in with the people you’re insinuating have some kind of bias.

It must be real nice to pick and choose whatever comments fit your narrative. I have stuck with Wentz up until this season. He is the QB and I stuck with him WANTING him to win. He has done not a thing to show he is capable anymore in his fifth year. Do we really need to go back over all the costly mistakes he has added to the games this year??? Now see, all this time, I do not recall you actually saying that you just dislike Hurts and it had something to do with his college playing days...I did not know that
