Now that the 2020 NFL Draft is in the books, what did you think?

I liked seeing the players at home celebrating with the families, but there something to be said about seeing them walk across the stage and holding up that jersey. Also, you really notice the importance of good television production during these COVID live events.

Eagles get a solid C+

I watched some of the first round. Found it incredibly boring and to be honest didn't think the players in their living rooms added much. I wouldn't tune in next year if it was the same scenario.

I've always found watching the draft in a vacuum to be pretty boring television. It's just players getting picked with tons of player interviews, and analysts reviewing every team's draft thus far by day 3. I only watch because I don't care about the other major sports, and I'm curious to see what positions we're addressing.

I think that's fair. The delivery of the draft isn't exactly exciting and dynamic. But at least the normal format offers a little more.

It does, for those that are interested. One of the reasons I was looking forward to this draft was the elimination of the hype and glitz and glamour. None of that interests me.

The draft is typically a pretty big snore-fest overall, especially on Day 3 when they get like 4 or 5 picks behind.

This year I watched the first three rounds with a few friends via video chat and it was a nice breath of fresh air to be honest. It was fun to just chat sports with the guys again while having a few beers... even if it wasn't in person.

It would have been much better had Trey Wingo not gone into fake somber voice every three minutes. I could have done without hearing about the deaths of every relative and acquaintance, too.

i thought the 2nd and 3rd days were produced really well. They just talked about football.

They play the FCS Championship just a few minutes from where I live.  I would have come out and watch them had I known Wentz would be an Eagle.  :-)

Maybe I should get out and watch them this year [if there's a season].  Never know what this quarterback factory business might bring!  :D
