Painted block white and lattice green.  Put some screen behind it.  Had some free flooring so the first wall and ceiling went up in the middle room.  I really like it.

I pulled these off the beach the other night since they are working on clean up. Being a poorer these were free and for $12.00 I’m picking up the arm and hammer cleaner to cure them. They will one day be my kitchen shelves. If my son can cut these down today and hit them with the air compressor I can get them inside before the rain.  Another project.  I left my note pad and sandpaper down there.  Also working on re doing a dresser.

you throw another stud 8" in from the last stud your drywall/paneling is hanging on (on either side) and add another header to cap them, frame out the bottom, drywall up the sides & top,  you'd have a nice display 'loft/shelf' above.

Since the kids couldn't make it this past weekend I went down myself on Sunday.  I dismantled a drawer and a shelf in this cabinet and I put the hot water heater in there.  My son wants to put it under the cottage.  Others have said it's no longer allowed.   I'm done losing sleep over it.  I even took the little house (siding and wood) he built for it out of there and I'm putting it someplace he won't find it.  The brat better do what I say.  Enough people have told him, so this saga better have a happy ending.

The only excuse I have for this job is that I am 60 and it's hard to work on a ladder over your head.  I hate caulking.  Pretty sure I ingested some.

installed central air in my house this weekend. got everything hooked up yesterday only to find that the main transformer powering the cicuit board is bad. <_< waiting for a call back from the company i bought it from. too hot this week to dealing with this haha

Lastly, it was a great weather day.  Cousins were there and they fed me.  What a difference from Tuesday when I was there until the weekend, they really did a nice job on the beach.  He was still running the machine over it while I was there.  I'm told they are also going to work on removing some trees which there's one in front of me.  I also need to move some other residents over to the right a little more.  They are sort of invading my space.

Odd a part would be bad right out the box.  Your electric panel is good with this new install?

yep. we triple checked all the wiring. got 120v going into the transformer and nothing coming out. should have 24v out of it.

Here’s the headboard I did out of the mushroom house door.

This week I started sanding a dresser. It’s getting vintage blue minwax and new hardware.  Drawers are next. I’m making a mess.

Got a new transformer and got the house cool just in time for the outside to be cool too

For the non-CVON folk, the current project is getting solar installed (yeah, I'm not doing this one hands on)

Friday was day 2 of the install.  Inverters and battery mounted and wire ran.  Monday the panels are going up and everything will be wired together.   Then I get to wait on peco, again.

Next is the kitchen.  Schmoopie and I picked out quartz, so that and a new backsplash will be next.

I didn't get down to the cottage this weekend.  No help.  Can't believe how busy my son is with the raking and baling this early.  Stuff is dry and one composting company has already caught fire.  Anyway, all by myself I did mange to finish the dresser.

The quartz we chose is Statuary Classique.  It will look like this once we are done (we will be doing the waterfall similar to this picture)

You don't seem too concerned about the bandits taking your solar panel two posts up.

I have to give it to this crew, they don’t f around.
When crap went bad: Pissed off at management and circled the wagons

When crap went well: Pissed off because [Blank] happened and they could be even further along.

my apologies; i shouldn't have said bandits in place of gypsies.

so....what's a good riding mower/lawn tractor that works well on hills so my fat arse won't tip it over & roll down the hill:

Just put in another Lowes order. More primer and a mildew/mold resistant paint  for the bathroom. I bought a gallon.  Since no exhaust fan figure I’ll do a few coats.  Ordered an inside corner flex stone piece from Home Depot that will go in the shower. I’m lining up some help for this weekend and just bought a portable charcoal grill so I can serve lunch.  Telescopic ladder came today. It’s our way (for now) into the loft from the hole I left in the ceiling in the back bedroom.  Would really like to get the 2nd AC up there.  I’ve already ruined 2 fans.  8D289B78-E2DE-4221-9562-5D1F0D482D29.thumb.jpeg.343f00ccbe55e26d2b9f118c06dab789.jpeg
