I am most likely putting a fire pit into the backyard shortly along with some horseshoe pits.  

It was advised to me to take a break from the beach this weekend.  So I did this instead.  No more weeding.  Over the years I had some really good perinatals and other years not so good.  Filled it all in with stone.  I’m done. 

After a 2 week hiatus from the bay due to  my adjustment disorder, I took mr di’s brother down yesterday.  Didn’t get much done.  I needed him to help me with the outside but he needed some wood that wasn’t there. We have these 2 sides and ridge cap to get on and then would be good.  

There were people there  opening up. They haven’t cleaned up the beach yet but they will and it comes up nice when they do it!   The electricity is finally hooked to the pole. The plumbing is a nightmare as no one knows where anything goes. This is why normal properties require plans, permits etc!  Nope not this place.  It’s overwhelming and I just want water.  Trying not to spiral, but I miss my plumber dearly.  Will leave a pic of my son.  He’s an absolute workhorse and smarter than anyone on the beach yesterday.  Maybe by Fathers Day ?

I removed that messy fenced in area next to the shed last week, it was a small vegi garden from the previous owners.

Now, I am having an issue getting wifi out at the fire pit.  I put a shelf up on the outside of the shed, for a tv.  Football games in the fall, hoops/hockey in the winter and bball in the spring.  I have Spectrum coming out this saturday to get my wifi updated.  But I might have to get a mesh router or a better extender.  Signal isn't strong enough to stream on a tv.

I bet there is a decent extender you can get without spending a fortune. I will tell you the really cheap ones are crap though.

Yeah the entire back of my property has a strip of different trees along it. The original owners did a nice job with the landscaping and pool area.

 

Best part is the property behind mine is farmland, makes it feel more secluded than it is and is nice for privacy.

our f'n pool is losing water...same thing happened 2 years ago & it was a leak in an underground pipe that cost us a few thousand to have repaired. 

this is why i didn't want a house w/ a pool. 

Started extending my patio today. Adding around 240sqft to the perimeter. Got most of the retaining wall in today after work. Hoping to be done by memorial day
