I've been a member of these boards for a long time.  Longer than I care to admit, honestly.  I first joined when I bought my first computer back when a Hershey bar cost a Quarter.  These boards were brutal, message board mean streets if you will.  All the cool kids had inside jokes and would unmercifully mock any newcomers trying to join in on the fray.  Being a newb, I signed up as Billy Penn.  Every Philly sports fan hates Billy Penn.  I was run off the board.  I decided to go to a triple A board called Concretefield.  My screen name was Yeti.  I spent a few years there honing my craft.  I returned as Billy Redden, and then after time just Redden.  I made jokes.  I made friends.  Finally I felt like I made the message board big leagues.  After a few years I decided to ask one of my friends via PM a question that had plagued me since I first ventured on to these very boards.

My "friend" openly mocked me.  Called me a noob.  Told me to go make him a sammich.  Told me to PM prophet and ask him.  Told me to go ask my mom.  Said to go take a look at my face.  MY FACE.  Told me to go to the Boris Becker website to find the answers I seek.

Well Toty, I tell you all this because I'm not going to make you go through that kind of humiliation when I know the answer to the question you ask.  "Rod Stewart" is an anagram for a filtered phrase.  Because I'm a member of the EMB secret society (if one actually exists) I can say no more, you'll have to figure it out from there.

I guess I'll have to work on the anagram for a while. I see one word as a subset of the characters that is filtered - it's one that I use frequently in the flat earth thread because of its supreme propriety there, but then I'm left with "OSTW" in the singular, or "OTW" in the plural. I suppose it could be "TWO ******S" (i.e. two flat-earthers), but that seems a bit of a stretch. I'll keep at it.

I had my last alcoholic beverage during Hurts last series.  Not a NYE resolution nor quitting for good or anything.  Just trying to dry the old liver out after 2020/the holidays

I'm 12 days in.  I had 2 beers Sunday / Sunday night watching the games.  I made a pitcher of Virgin Mojitos that we were drinking.  It was pretty good. 

A few days ago, I grouted the basement bathroom floor with a cold IPA less than 10 feet from me.  Nope.

I meant had a bad time.  Like a "I'm so hung over, I'll never drink again" bad time or "had too much to drink and told my mother in law to f off at dinner" bad time
