I’m seeing people post on my feed about their views on $15 per hour.  Something must be up, because people don’t just randomly start talking about that.

I think is people are mad China steals our jobs now, just wait until $15/hr

I heard Queen Latifah is the new Equalizer

In other news, Kristin Chenoweth has been cast as Idi Amin in the upcoming remake of Raid on Entebbe

I seriously don’t understand how TV execs think some shows will work? Even worse is that Call me Kat show. Zero chance that makes it more than a season.

People have been talking about "the fight for 15" for the better part of the last decade.

Randomly he says lmao

Ending slavery and giving people the weekend off destroyed the golden age of economics.  No way in Hell we survive this one without turning into roach people within 3 generations.

Make them wage slaves until they earn enough to buy a knife.

Then they can work their way through the arena.

10 kills and you get an instant management position at McDowell's, which, as you all know, is when the big bucks happen.

If they were so desperate to get her another TV show, they might as well have reprised Blossom.

I remember the good old days when the minimum wage was $7.50. Back when you could buy a cheeseburger for a few bucks, taco bell burrito for a couple bucks. Coffee was about a dollar or two at wawa. Now that I think about it, not much has changed.

The good thing is, these hard left proposals have absolutely 0 consequences. Legalize 11 million people? Sure, why not? $15 minimum wage? I say make it $20.

Not as stupid as Seventy Yard saying "people don’t just randomly start talking about that."

Didn't I read about all of this in Atlas Shrugged?

I’m not necessarily in favor of a $15 minimum wage.

But I always want to question the memes/comments that a cheeseburger price will go to $10 or $25 or whatever level the poster decides to freak out to.
If the free market is setting the price for a fast food sammich... aren’t companies selling said sammich for the maximum price customers are willing to pay vs the number of sammiches sold at a higher or lower price, so as to maximize profit, Correct? So raising the minimum wage would obviously raise the price to make sammich, possibly causing  certain sammich making feasible or not feasible, but isn’t the maximum price already set?

Max price? Not hardly. Competition keeps downward pressure on price. Profit is a function of scale and margin not just price

Obviously there are many factors.

If it costs .50 to make a hamberder and you sell 100 hamberders a day at $1. You make $50.

If you raise the price to $2 and still sell 100 hamberders you make $150.

If you raise the price to $3 and then only sell 50 hamberders you make $125 profit.

Where are you setting your price?
