Came across this question yesterday and thought it would make for interesting debate with you terrible people. I am actually torn between the two. Have been contemplating it for about a day and keep going back and forth. It's a horrible scenario really. 

This is easy - there's plenty of bands out there that could make even a Pitbull song amazing.  Pitbull is always going to sound like crap, no matter the song.

Maybe, but then you have to listen to only one song forever? Sure it'll be in different styles, but how different could they really make the song?

Not a question I thought I'd be answering today but... I think it's a pretty easy one to be fair. You'd go for artists covering one song as they can put their own spin on it. Pitbull could cover every song in the world ever made and they'd all sound the same. 

I started playing piano at 7 moved to guitar and bass at 9....... before this is asked..... arthritis in my left hand makes playing a rarity these days.

I find music to be the most wonderful creation next to boobs.

But ...... 

I'll take a 3rd option.....
