Person I know who bishes the most about the stock market is my FIL, a contactor who owns zero stock and literally has money buried in his back yard. The one who bishes the most about gas prices is my uncle who owns his own orthodontics practice and makes an ungodly amount of money and owns 4 separate giant SUVs.

Gas Prices and the stock market have almost nothing to do with who is POTUS.  That's been my stance since I first started posting here in 2006, it's still my stance today.

My dad is this kind of person. He could win a billion dollars and bish about it raining on the way to go pick up the check.

Then a week later his car breaks down  and now his money is getting tight because he just paid the water bill and might have to do some side jobs to make up for the dwindling bank account that is now at 999,999,999

Come on Bo.  You act like you didnt know gas would shoot up once the dems got back into the WH.  That was a given.   Im willing to bet it keeps rising over the next couple years.  
 

im not going to comment on unemployment.  Covid has us in uncharted territory and while dems dont seem to have much of a problem with high unemployment, they are in a tough position here

Rich people problems.  As someone who is not and will never be rich,  Im honestly tire of getting caught up in rich people problems

Perfect example:   Im doing a lighting retrofit project at a 5 story condo (16) massive condo units on Ocean Ave and washington st in santa monica   Perfect ocean view of sm pier and basically the whole sm bay.   These condos run in the millions   And every single tenant is a rich ahole   Even their maids are snobs.  It’s a tually impossible to make any profit on this job because all the owners association members (multi millionaires)all want to be the final say on everything and cant come to an agreement.  I have like 6 different people coming to me telling me not to listen to the other 5 people.  They all hate each other and are clearly in some kind of competition for power and status

for a while i was playing the good guy mediator  until i realized it would only get worse.  Hearing their complaints and concerns over non issues.  I asked them from day one for a staging area for materials and got a tiny little corner of the parking structure next to the parking spot of the owner least liked by the others (who is actually the coolest person there). Then later i find a huge secured storage area basically empty i could have used.  
 

anyways’. Now i simply tell them im too busy trying to break even on the job and dont have time for their rich person problems.

Funny thing is my dad isn't rich at all. He is really comfortable and can enjoy his retirement but, nope still working 40 hr weeks sometimes more because like I said he always claims he is broke and can't afford anything. 

My dad has been a truck driver and heavy equipment operator his whole life with some side stuff like being a mechanic and body work on cars. 

He likes hanging out with the rich folks and act like them though and it's irritating lol. 

I work in a small town where I'd say about 80% of the residents are very well off to rich. The sense of entitlement and treating hometown grocery workers like trash and talking down to us all the time is like you said tiring. 

As soon as you tell them you can get them what they want they break out the " I know the owners" card. That's usually when I see red and no longer wish to help that person .
