If your near downtown or anywhere near the main fwys the prices are as high as they can be. Some spots (mostly the ones known for cheaper gas) are trying to stay under $6 it seams like. but I can’t say they are dropping. I think they will continue to rise along with everything else as it has been steadily and surely. i

They can't afford to store it, so they need to sell it.

Wait are really telling me (and everyone really) we should thank anyone for the price of gas right now? or are you being sarcastic? either way I’m not thanking sheete except for myself for buying a 4 cylinder Ford ranger and using it as a work truck instead of a v8.
March 22, 20223 yr Gas 4.05 in Mays Landing NJ this morning. Also, "Rumpshaker" by Wrex-n-effex was on the radio. So yeah, it's been a good morning.
March 22, 20223 yr I don't know what Joe did, maybe got rid of some malarky, but prices seem to be coming down.

The ease at which Joe has been navigating one disaster after another is truly amazing. I'm not sure it's possible for us mere mortals to fully understand, but eliminating malarkey definitely seems to be part of it.

Toastrel is being tongue-in-cheek. Vikas laid it out bare. If you persist in the belief that Biden's actions have caused gas prices to rise you're choosing to believe your feelings over reality.

I also believe that out administrative policies do in fact play a role in the cost of gas. It’s not a "feeling”. It’s just a simple fact that you for some reason can’t acknowledge. Feeling maybe?

April 3, 20223 yr https://yubanet.com/usa/report-oil-giants-post-eye-popping-205-billion-record-profits/ March 24, 2022 at 9:33 AMWASHINGTON DC – Today, Accountable.US issued a correction noting that twenty-five top oil and gas companies saw a staggering $237 billion in record profits in 2021 and not the $205 billion the government watchdog previously reported on March 15. KEY FINDINGS FROM THE REPORT: While Americans struggle to cover the cost of filling their cars, Big Oil boasts to investors about a "momentous year” with record profits. This includes: Chevron called 2021 one of its "most successful years ever.” Shell CEO Ben Van Beurden called 2021 a "momentous year.” Oil and gas companies are taking "full advantage” of high prices, with profits serving as a "main component” of determining retail energy costs. Comments include: Coterra CEO Tom Jordan called the high gas prices "good.” Equinor CEO Anders Opedal bragged to investors about "capturing value from high prices.” With sky-high prices, oil and gas companies are choosing to shower money on their shareholders instead of reinvesting to help lower prices. In 2021, 14 oil companies gave over $35 billion to shareholders through dividend bumps and stock buybacks. Pioneer Natural Resources called 2021 one of the best years for shareholder returns in the shale industry in the past decade. Marathon Oil called doubling down on share buybacks the "clear thing for us to do.”
