December 1, 20223 yr if a man can't fill his f950 sporting a 24in lift kit and 37in tires with 1,100 gallons of diesel for under $50, this administration should be ashamed of themselves.

I read that consumer reports took the mach E and the bronco off of their recommended list because the reliability is so bad they can't even give it a rating. That and the ford f150 lightning are bricking left and right

The issues they cited were with the screen (and something else that I can’t remember at the moment) with some of the Mach Es that were early in the production cycle. Supposedly they were addressed and since mine was one of the last shouldn’t be an issue. We’ll see. I’ll be sure to wine about it here if it becomes an issue

December 2, 20223 yr At least the Ford/Chevy EVs have a wealth of knowledge on fit and finish, something Tesla is lacking. If you are ever in a Tesla, have them turn off the music for minute and listen to the car.

They're pretty cool looking. I've got no need for a truck of that sort, but if I did on looks alone I'd consider it. Sucks if they're having reliability issues, I can't deal with that. It's 2022, any car I buy better be hitting its stride at 100,000 miles not starting to break down (caveat being regular maintenance is kept up).

I'm not shocked though. Arnt they over a year backordered and there are entire lots in Michigan with ones waiting for chips?
December 2, 20223 yr My wife's Wrangler 4xe is slated to build next week and ship on Friday. We shall see. I could use the $7500 credit this year. Already got the level 2 wiring done and the unit is sitting in my garage. 30% credit for the wiring and the unit, so that is nice too.

I can thank schmoopie for that. I wanted a Tesla but she wanted the Mach-E. She won that debate.

There was a recall in June over battery overheating issues with DC chargers. Hopefully mine won't have that issue since it was built in October. Plus I plan on using those only in absolutely necessary scenarios (long trips).
