March 1, 20214 yr I think it's something like in the $2.70s here in Conshy. I honestly don't even notice the price of gas unless it is in the low $2's or goes above $3. Otherwise who cares. One thing that does bother me is that there is this one Lukoil on Ridge pike which is always at least a full $1.00 a gallon higher than every single other gas station in the area. Why do people get gas there when there are plenty others nearby? It's the principle of the matter for me with this Lukoil I'd almost prefer running out of gas trying to get to another station than give them their extra $12.

March 1, 20214 yr I rarely notice the price of gas, I probably only go to the gas station a handful of times a year. I got married so she could do that menial crap for me.

Even with 40k miles, assuming you get like 20 mpg in your vehicle, your talking about a fluctuation in yearly gas payments of maybe up to $2,000 tops if gas prices increase by $1.00 per gallon.

I will be doing about 25k a year from now on, just moved further from where I work. The car I am driving now gets mid 40s MPG on the highway so I will only feel it a bit.

March 1, 20214 yr Just now, 4for4EaglesNest said: $2,000 is money that could go back into the economy. And just think, if everyone drove 10k miles a year, that would be an additional $500 per person back into the economy. Not a lot of money individually, but collectively.... Paying for gas is putting it back into the economy.
