2020 Draft is the Last Straw

Look I came into this draft ready to be disappointed. I did not have a good feeling before the draft. But I will give this draft a chance before saying it is a flop because I don't have a choice.

We still have day 3 to go

But this draft will be the straw that broke the camel's back if it is a dud. It will essentially be tied back to CeeDee Lamb and Justin Jefferson's production vs Reagor and Jalen Hurts progress as a QB. Round 3-7 will not matter when looking back IMO.

I think Reagor will ball out but if he doesn't AND Jefferson&Lamb ball out then we will hear rumblings.

Sounds like the Eagles drafted Hurts just to develop him and trade him lol

But as a crazy eagles fan, I am talking myself into this draft being solid. Not sure how but I am doing it because I don't have a choice haha

Don’t let them lie to you. The Eagles did not draft Hurts in the 2nd round to trade him. They drafted him, because they don’t believe Carson can give them a full season without some kind of injury, and believe me if Hurts is playing so well that he’s being considered as trade bait for a first who are you trading? The kid or the guy who can’t stay healthy?

We were in a really bad position with really 3 stud WR’s and a bunch of teams ahead of us needing them.  Plus we traded 2 good picks for a 29 year old CB.  No ammo to move up.   This is the result.  They obviously value backup QB over starting LB too.
