I heard ya'll like Hoagies. This came up in my feed today. Marinucci's is my personal favorite.

Now I'm hungry. When's lunch?

Not a Dietz & Watson fan for Italian Hoagies.

The best Italian hoagie I have had was from Sarrcone's Bakery in S. Philly.

Oh yeah. A Buffalo chicken cheesesteak is delicious.

Why do we call it a chicken cheesesteak, when there is no steak component in it? What else can we call it? Chicken hoagie isn't right. A chicken cheese sandwich? No. A fried chicken hoagie? Sounds like something you'd get at a KFC or Chick-fil-A.

Jersey Mike's calls it a chicken Philly I think. And yeah I'll take provolone over the processed fake stuff any day.

Chicken Philly is probably the best name for it. Anything better?

I got my big girl panties on, fella.

Maybe you haven't had to drive an hour to get "the right hoagie" but some of us have. And in an hour, a lot can happen to a sammy with veggie and salty meat.

A lot. And in the end, the ROLL pays the price. A price I am not willing to eat. I hate getting to the end and the bread goes squish and leaks liquid.

Pretty sure that how you make mayo.

I rarely wait more than five minutes to eat a sandwich for that very reason

No doubt.  Who the hell want's soggy ass bread.

Yeah. Even if buying a cheap quick sandwich for a quick meal I'll just eat it in my car in the parking lot. Hate letting them sit more than 5-10 minutes.

I've been hearing good things about Cafe Carmela and Stoli's Steaks in the NE, my old stomping grounds.

Everybody is equal, level the playing field starting ... NOW !!! How convenient would that be for Kz ?

Here is a solution at the root of most of the issues but would take a while to be effective, the public education should be entirely funded by the federal government so no funding allowed thru any other source including property taxes and private contributions. All schools would have to be brought up to snuff to begin with and fairly equipped.

My personal impressions of people I knew in high school and college who got into law enforcement that were white were definitely biased , but such was life in the 70’s where people did not mix as much and for sure less WOKE. There is an officer a few houses up the street from my father about 40 yrs old at the time, one day we had a brief conversation and Obama came up, the hatred was there. I astoundedly and quickly switched topics, oh well. Maybe the wrong people are being hired, ya think ?

To think that leveling the playing field for everybody, whether it be education, employment or whatever is a ridiculously impossible endeavor......because it can never take into account culture, intelligence, work ethic, integrity or personal responsibility and accountability.   And those that fail or don't accomplish anything will always say the "playing field isn't level".

And thinking that the government entirely funding education is a road to the school systems being subpar......throwing money at a problem rarely fixes the problem. Education funding is NOT a problem in this country.....but the list of problems in education are too numerous to list here.....because we've allowed politics and agendas to pollute the educational system.

And we've all seen racists....but we've seen a hell of alot more people who weren't......it's just not stylish to mention them.  Racism exists, but accusing all white people for having  "privilege" or "being racist" just a counterproductive.  It creates resentment and basically is an excuse for the problems that exist.....and doesn't address the causes.

As far as police are concerned, nobody wants to address the topic of Black Crime Matters.   Cops are constantly put in positions where suspects or criminals are resisting arrest, fighting with the cop, not following instructions or flat out assaulting them.  Cops are being assaulted and killed more frequently than ever.   It's too easy and too lazy to just assume cops are racist. They don't show up for no reason.......

Sometimes, clearly, they do.

People committing no crime have the police called due to blackness. Kids cutting the grass, for F's sake. A guy in his own house or walking in his own neighborhood.

Public Education is funded by property taxes.   A school district where the average house price is $80k isn’t going to have as much money as one where the average house is $400k.

And wtf does this have to do with sandwiches?

American cheese and cheese whiz are barely cheese.

I prefer provolone.

Drunk, I might go whiz and there are places with crappy provolone so I might go American.

Sharp provolone if they have it.

No amount of money is going to make dumb kids with dumb irresponsible parents perform well in school.

not really,  american cheese is cheese. just a very mild cheddar. whiz is liquid salt that should only go on fries.
