I never claimed why they did it so I don’t know "which” you are talking about. Cash bail is an absolute disadvantage to the poor so I get why it needed fixed, some on the far left just through the baby out with the bath water. 

I'm personally against a cash bail system.  I don't think the amount of wealth you have should dictate whether or not you have to sit in prison while you await trial.  I think that determination should be based on 1) The crime you are charged with and the evidence to support said crime which could indicate you are a threat to society and therefore should be held on remand while you await trial, 2) your criminal history which could also serve as a predictor as to your likelihood to commit more crimes while you await trial

I think it's a waste of resources to house people in prison for the sole fact that they can't afford bail for an upcoming trial for which they have the right of presumption of innocence.

No. The Dems are actually divided on bail reform, so it’s not the entire party. In some cases it’s not the law, it’s far left judges that are letting violent criminals out. Arguing why is a waste of time and just another excuse to point fingers, the focus should be on fixing the bail system and or raining in judges.

It actually IS a one sided issue. You don’t see conservatives advocating for no cash bail for violent offenders. The left completely and totally owns that position. It simply wouldn’t exist without them.
