dsryan24
After acquiring the 12th overall pick from the 49ers, we are looking to stick with Hurts for this year at the very least. This is revised up to the second trade! These next 2 draft are the most 2 crucial drafts in Eagles history. If they hit on half of their picks in the next 2 years, it would be a nice quick turn around, assuming things work with Jalen Hurts as well. TRADES- Zach Ertz traded to Titans for 2021 6th round pick. RESIGN- RB Jordan Howard ROUND 1- DeVonta Smith WR Alabama- With moving back now, the need still lies at WR. Smith is arguably just as good as Chase, if not better. Hurts get a weapon for this year and the chance to load up with weapons. ROUND 2- Greg Newsome CB Northwestern- Newsome is a nice pick here at the top of the 2nd round. He can come in right away and start opposite of Slay. Much needed upgrade in the defensive backfield. ROUND 3- Andre Cisco S Syracuse- Cisco is a steal here in my opinion. He has a chance to compete for a starting job opposite of Anthony Harris right away. Also, Harris on a one year deal also, and Rodney McLeod is coming off injury and not getting any younger. ROUND 3- Ifeatu Melifonwu CB Syracuse- Has freakish athletic ability and could be a lockdown corner. More depth iand youth n the defensive backfield, comes along with his college teammate Cisco as well. ROUND 4- Hunter Long TE Boston College- Long is a nice possession TE that will pair nicely with Goedert. He's a solid in line blocker, sort of reminds me of Chad Lewis in his hey day. ROUND 5- Chauncey Golston DE Iowa- Golston provides more depth along the defensive line which is much needed with the departure of Vinny Curry. ROUND 6- Sadareus Hutcherson OG South Carolina- More youth along the offensive line. Hutcherson is a road grader that could eventually move into a starting role, takes Matt Pryor's spot. ROUND 6- Tedarrell Slaton DT Florida- Depth & youth along the interior defensive line much needed. Slaton is a nice run stopper that could be a Beau Allen type right off the bat. ROUND 6- Tuf Borland LB Ohio State- What better name for a LB other than Tuf? Depth behind Singleton and Edwards, as they showed they can play. Don't forget about Davion Taylor who could develop more this year also. ROUND 6- Victor Dimujeke DE Duke- More youth along the d-line, Graham is older and Barnett is an unknown, and Sweat will be going inot a contract year next year. ROUND 7- Sam Ehlinger QB Texas- Ehlinger is a developmental guy kind of like Sudfeld, that may have potential as a backup after Flacco is done. ROUND 7- Pooka Williams RB Kansas- Depth at RB Behind the rest of the guys. Pooka could be a nice change of pace back, sort of like Boston Scott, but not as bulky. DEPTH OFFENSE QB- Hurts, Flacco, Ehlinger RB- Sanders, Scott, Howard, Williams WR- Smith, Fulgham, Reagor, Ward, Hightower, Watkins TE- Goedert, Long, Wilson LT- Mailata, Dillard LG- Seumalo, Hutcherson C- Kelce, Seumalo RG- Brooks, Herbig RT- Johnson, Driscoll DEFENSE LE- Graham, Sweat DT- Cox, McGill DT- Hargrave, Ridgeway, Slaton RE- Barnett, Golston, Dimujeke LB- Singleton, Taylor, Avery LB- Edwards, Bradley, Borland CB- Slay, Melifonwu CB- Newsome, James NB- Maddox, Seymour FS- McLeod, Cisco, Adams SS- Harris, Wallace K- Elliott P- Siposs

Greenakers2
Being honest: I liked the middle of your draft better than the top of it.
eaglesfan0075
I actually think its a pretty solid draft haul. Still end up with a playmaker on offense and rebuild the secondary with the early picks.
