Are they going to start using one PT standard for all men, or will they continue to lower the standard for them as they age? What’s your best score on the PT test? Mine was 299 in 1982. I missed maxing the run by a few seconds. Doing the run in combat boots was a bad idea for many reasons. Tell us about the OPSEC standard under this POS white nationalist.

I simply ask you questions, but I guess you have no clue how the standards in the military work because you never actually had to honor them. Are they going to make all men use the same minimum PT standards, or will they continue to lower them as they get older? Simple question for someone so concerned about lowering standards.

You might want to watch the video old/frail. He's talking about making the standards for men and women the same so we don't have physical liabilities on the battlefield. If that upsets you, you're welcome to commence your effeminate blubbering now and use google for any additional questions you may have.

He’s lying, clueless, or both, when he says we’ve had different standards for men and women serving in combat roles. The standards for men and women to enter any particular MOS/Rating were never lowered to accommodate women, and by law, are gender neutral.

Yeah, unless you check the army's website, I guess it's possible to believe that. And then there's a giant pdf showing lower standards for women in every category across the board. https://www.goarmy.com/how-to-join/requirements/fitness

And then there's a giant pdf showing lower standards for women in every category across the board. https://www.goarmy.com/how-to-join/requirements/fitness I don’t have to check the army’s website, I’ve participated in plenty of PT tests and know that minimum scores have always been lower for gender and age. Though they did add some new events to the testing. If you think that a female should be able to do the same PT test as men, then you must think that a 50 year old man has to do the same as a 17 yr old man, and that is just not feasible. The PT test is to test the physical abilities of individuals based on their gender and age, and general fitness to serve in the military. If a particular MOS or rating requires a higher level of fitness, IE: 11B, the testing is gender neutral. I get why you wouldn’t get the difference, but the fact that Hegseth is wrong here is astounding

April 1Apr 1 Author Hegseth: We're going to make all military personnel pass the same test regardless of gender. Old/frail: He’s lying, clueless, or both, when he says we’ve had different standards for men and women serving in combat roles. Me: Here's a link from the army saying they have different physical standards for men and women in combat roles. Old/frail: I've participated in this and know they've always had different standards for men and women. Yeah, that's what they're eliminating.

Old/frail: I've participated in this and know they've always had different standards for men and women. Yeah, that's what they're eliminating. no, that is not what they are eliminating. What Maj "Whisky Leaks” actually said: "For far too long, we have allowed standards to slip. We’ve had different standards for men/women serving in combat arms MOS’s and jobs….” I don’t expect you to read, but this article explains it pretty well. He really isn’t trying to make all PT standards the same, just the ones in combat MOSs and ratings. However, most of them are already gender neutral, as they should be. "The military has long had what is largely a two-part system for physical fitness standards: -Routine annual fitness tests with different requirements based on gender and age. -More grueling standards for specific combat, special operations, infantry, armor, pararescue jumpers and other jobs that are the same for everyone in that occupation, and are not adjusted for age or gender. Hegseth’s memo appears to focus on the second grouping — arguing that combat jobs require more stringent fitness standards. Already, however, specific military jobs like special operations, infantry, armor and pararescue require different, higher-level physical — and often mental and psychological — tests, requirements and qualification courses. Those standards require everyone to meet the same requirements, regardless of their age or gender. For example, an Army soldier who wants to be a Green Beret or a Ranger, or a sailor who wants to be a Navy SEAL, must pass grueling monthslong qualification courses. Also, after the Pentagon allowed women to be in all combat jobs, the Army set specific fitness standards for each military occupation that are the same regardless of age or gender. "
April 1Apr 1 Combat arms is more than how physically fit you are. Yeah if you’re out of shape you’re dead, but being a meathead doesn’t mean you will execute a perfect area defensive scheme, or, know how to call in fire support on an RPG hunter killer team that doesn’t exist… ^btw, that’s a 100% true story. Ex college football star company leader has no idea what he’s doing. You can read about it in Generation Kill (great enlisted perspective of OIF I) and One Bullet Away (great officer perspective of OIF I)

May 4May 4 JFC so the DoD is stopping procurement on the JLTV (beefed up hummer) and the M10 Booker (a light tank that for whatever reason people keep calling it something other than a light tank), and they envision troops not going into battle in armored vehicles and instead using light unarmored utility vehicles.Or, you know, doing the exact thing Russia is doing in Ukraine and getting shot to ish because their light vehicles are getting their ish pushed in by drones.JFC it's one thing for them to be a bunch of degenerates, but this is near criminal incompetence. They're doing the exact opposite of what they need to be doing. Our next war is going to be 1942 in North Africa all over again solely based on the fact that we have the most incompetent SECDEF in the history of the DoD.
