Excellent draft so far...

So far we have improved the following:

WR - Speed and athleticism. Exactly what this team needed. Reagor was the no. 1 option after the top 3. (I wouldnt have traded a 1st,2nd and 4th to Atlanta for a shot at CeeDee either)

QB - A very good backup QB with the potential to a good starter. (a 41 year old journeyman was preferred to Sudfield last year so had to upgrade). I know we gave up a 2nd rd pick but look what happened last year when we used a low pick on a flyer). Also good insurance for any games Wentz may miss and the possibilty of using him in the offense straight away on designed plays.

LB - Speedy athletic LB with high character who has potential to start day 1 certainly on ST.

CB - Darius Slay - You have to include the 3rd round pick traded for Darius Slay. Top 6-7 CB in the NFL.

We now have 3 4th round picks. Go Birds.

Apologises for the positivity and I expect a backlash. Now lets wait 3 years to see how this group turns out! :excited::Eagle_smiley:

We all said this was a massive draft. Started the off season with 10 picks, gave 2 away in a trade that now makes zero sense. Gave away our second rounder to not improve the team. What an ish show. I didn't trust Howie before, I didn't think he'd mess it up this badly though.

I want you, I need you, but I don't think there's a way that I'm ever gonna love you. Don't be said, don't be said, 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

Not gonna give you any backlash. Those are things to be positive about, but I will state a veteran presence backing up the QB makes for more sense than a rookie does.

The talent makes sense. But it only makes sense if your going to contend this year and next. And apparently we prioritize a back up QB to flip for picks in a few years over players that can help this team.

Oh you’re just crying about the Jalen pick. You could have opened with that

If Wentz cant go for a few games and Jalen can come in and win a few games then it makes perfect sense. It would be wise to have a capable back up to the most important position in all of sports. How many dominant seasons have turned when the starting QB goes down for extended time?

There's other QBs who could have done the same though. And to think a developmental QB like Hurts can do that is naive.

So, you think that young LB that didn't hardly play an HS football...projected by many to be a late round pick... is going to be a high quality starter in the NFL right out of the gate?
