And after what happened in Michigan, the woke DA decided to charge the parents with manslaughter.  While there's precedent for holding parents civilly liable for the torts committed by their minor children, holding them criminally liable is a whole other story.  Very slippery slope here folks, and I doubt this will stand.

Sounds like it's based on some evidence that the parents, or at least the dad, bought the gun with the intent to give it to his son. Curious to see how they'll prove that, but I wouldn't put it past them to outright admit it if they were questioned by police.

Also some rumors that they were told by the school that he was seemingly planning something and was caught using his phone to search for info on buying ammo, and they allegedly said to him, "LOL I'm not mad at you, you just have to learn not to get caught."

Not sure what he's basing that on. It's a big county and I grew up in a city on the west side of it and I'd say it's a fairly even mix of blue and red. People think the burbs here are all blue because of Detroit but the upper east counties are actually fairly red.

No I mean specifically about who they bought it for and how their son was posting videos of himself with it and target practice on his social media if they claim they didn't give it to him. If they're smart, they'll claim he stole it from them and they didn't realize it until it was too late. In the court of public opinion, it's clearly horseshit since we all know the kid asked for it and the dad took him to buy one a mere 4 days before the shooting. But in a court of law, they might be able to sway a jury by lying about their intent.

Parents yet to be apprehended since being charged this morning. They haven't been responding to their attorney and the FBI is now involved in the search.
