All about the root causes, until your policies are directly implicated in 2 mass murders in a matter of weeks, then don’t you dare talk about the root causes. God you all are horrible human beings. Just self-absorbed scum.

That kid needed professional help so his parents bought him a gun.  Even if you think the school didn’t do enough the parents were criminally negligent.

Yeah dude, this is always the parents fault until they are red-blooded Republicans. Then we need to be sure to blame liberals somehow. You're a sick person.

Guess I shouldn't be surprised that politics has been brought in

The parents were called into school the day of the shooting.  At that point the parents could have checked their son’s backpack because they knew they had just bought him a gun.

But sure, let’s blame the school.

The root cause is just crap parenting. Maybe an IQ test is needed to get pregnant.

Crap parenting, mental illness, bullies, and cowardly, brainwashed, self-absorbed school administrators. Not in equal amounts, but they’re all Ingredients.

Yeah, it’s the school administrators fault the parents gave their mentally disturbed son a gun and he shot up his school.

You don't think the school shares any blame?

Do you think they should’ve suspended him for drawing a picture? In hindsight they probably should have, but the parents knew their son had a gun. Had the school known that maybe things go differently.

Also, let’s say the school suspended him for a week. What happens when he comes back?

Drawing a picture of a person getting killed with a gun saying help me? Yes. For at the least a day and require him to see a shrink

I think he also had a drawing of saying his life was worthless or something

Did the school have a psychologist? I feel like that’s a luxury that not a lot of public schools have.

Not sure. Not even sure if that school was considered "good" either

The critical part of this is that this disturbed person had access to a gun. If the school has that information then there’s no way they’re sending him back to class. Now I get that the parents might not have known that he had the gun with him, but they had just bought it for him.

Apparently thats being investigated as well.

I'll just clarify that I think the parents should be charged but I wouldn't be surprised if the school gets sued by the victims families

The ones that stayed home will likely regret not telling authorities for years
