Texas' everyone with guns is cool laws have to apply to everyone, even POC.

I understand being cool with carrying guns, but its still against the law to start shooting people down there isn't it?

Depends.. did he yell "they're coming right for us!" first?

He was arrested for being a black guy with a gun?

How in the blue hell is the shooter out on bail?

Black privilege.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/suspected-school-shooter-bullied-being-195700746.html

The suspect of a high school shooting in Arlington, Texas, that injured four was previously bullied because of his family’s wealth, a family spokeswoman said.

"He was scared, he was afraid,” Carol Harrison-Lafayette said at a press conference outside the family’s home. "It wasn’t just one person that would attack him and bully him, taking his money, harassing him because he had more things than maybe others. It takes us all to stand together against this bullying. It could have been a situation where he took the other turn and decided to commit suicide.”

SUSPECT ARRESTED IN TEXAS HIGH SCHOOL SHOOTING THAT HOSPITALIZED THREE

"Due to the fact that they were blessed financially, he was able to get things that other children or teenagers could not have,” Harrison-Lafayette continued. "And so because he wore nice clothes and because he drove nice cars and because he had the things, he was like a target.”

Timothy Simpkins, 18, fired a .45 caliber handgun in a Timberview High School classroom following an altercation with another student on Wednesday. Of the four people injured, three were hospitalized, with a 15-year-old boy still in critical condition. He fled the scene and turned himself in to the police several hours later.

She emphasized the family was not "justifying” him taking a gun to school.

"To the victims' family, there is no justification of anybody being hurt," she said.

Simpkins was charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a gun. He was released from Tarrant County Jail Thursday after making $75,000 bail and outfitted with an ankle monitor.

You got lynched on your side.

  I’ll bet you feel the same way about the 1/6 trespassers who can’t get bail.

I guess the shooter in this case did not try to convince a judge he was a sovereign citizen. Or insist he had every right to shoot those people.

You can't revoke bail for no reason. The 1-6 keep giving reasons.  Maybe you should move to Iran where you would be more comfortable?

If this POS starts violating the terms of his release, they can revoke his bail too.

So the 18 year old shooter was bullied by a 15 years old for being rich?

We should be shocked also, that a family with money, has their kid out on bail.

I just can't believe that a school shooter is eligible for bail.

The kid's lawyer must have made a good case for the kid not being a danger to public safety, which is the real clincher.

This explains why 1-6 defendants, continuing to  argue they are sovereign, or were justified by a lie, are being denied.

Sadly, stuff like this is no longer surprising. Take for instance the shoot out caught on camera in Chicago that I posted about in another thread. No one will be charged because the incident was considered "mutual combat."

How about the shooting of the Utah football player that made big news recently?

https://ksltv.com/473770/suspect-arrested-in-shooting-death-of-aaron-lowe-shouldnt-have-been-on-the-streets-previous-victim-says/

The suspect Buk Mawut Buk robbed someone at gunpoint on Oct. 12, 2019. He robbed someone else at gunpoint in June of 2020. In November of 2020 he was caught fleeing from a stolen vehicle with a loaded gun that was linked to a murder investigation.

All that, and the dude was somehow on the streets. Obviously it was only a matter of time before he killed someone. I honestly don't know how liberal judges and DAs can look at themselves in the mirror everyday knowing they let monsters like this dude out leading directly to the murder of a promising young athlete. The only possible explanation is that they are literally evil scum and don't care. They should be thrown in prison as well.

From what I saw, the shooter thoroughly won the fight. The kid he was beating on looked to be about half his size too. Not buying the "bullying" narrative.

You have far too much faith in our judicial system.

All it takes is for the guy’s lawyer to know the right people.

Or for politics to enter the equation.

Many reasons other than a legitimate case of "not a public danger” when the guy (he’s an adult, not a "kid” BTW) just shot up a school.

Well the shooter was 18 fighting a 15 year old. I don’t even think they let those ages play football together anymore.

Is it confirmed that the shooter was the dude rag-dolling the other kid around the class? I assumed it was the other way around.

Kyle Rittenhouse got out on bail, so..

Rittenhouse only shot people who were on video attacking him so it's not really an apples to apples comparison.

That's not a consideration for bail. He hasn't been tried, the question is whether he's a flight risk.

Oh, do you know what each defendant's bail was set at?

I thought so but it is hard to tell from the video.
