Julio Jones (Falcons WR) -- Potential Trade?

ATL apparently listening to calls. No idea what he would cost. Just dreaming here...

Cost of that contract is already a dealbreaker

No thanks. Too old and too expensive. He's still elite of course he is but the fact that Atlanta are apparently open to offers says something.

If we were a WR away from being a legit contender then perhaps.  But we are (insert any position here) away ... this roster needs a talent infusion at just about every position - it is going to take a couple of years before we can become a contender again, so it just wouldn't make any sense.

Absolutely! Jones should be a target for a team like... The Niners, perhaps Seattle, the Rams, Green Bay or perhaps someone like Buffalo or Miami. Basically a team looking to take that next step and put themselves firmly in the frame to be a legit contender. That is definitely not us.

I don't think people care if it helps the team, they just want a big time flashy receiver at any age or cost.

Only Green Bay or Rams should touch in my opinion. Last roll of the dice with Rodgers/Stafford, both teams are loaded and a Jones could put them over the top.

Not sure either could take on that contract though.

Yeah I'd agree with that. I mean I guess you could argue Tampa too but they don't really need him.

I'd rather eagles pick up Simi Fehoko from Stanford in later rounds.

2020 was the first since since 2013 that he didn’t have over 1k yards and the team sucked in 2020. He’s still got a lot left in the tank

I think he’d probably cost a lot in picks though. So no thank you
