What would it take to make this draft a success?

Going into day 3, I can’t even get myself excited to watch.  We are the joke of the draft so far...so, what would it take to make this draft a success? Two starters next year, maybe three starters the following?  (Not including Hurts, he would still be a back up)

A trade up for a punter

Trading Wentz for yannick and starting Hurts!!!

Reagor becoming the next Randy Moss.

Punter...I like it...the game going forward is going to be big on field position...huge...

let’s get it done

But in all seriousness.  If a miracle happens, and hurts somehow returns something along the lines of a first and second round pick in the future, does it make this draft palatable?

That would be a couple years down the line, then we can all laugh about how we forced the eagles to fire Howie for nothing.

It's already a wrap in my opinion. I'm done following it after that Hurts pick

2-3 guys who will contribute........and 2-3 guys who can make the roster and develop into contributors.

The eagles REALLY need 2nd & 3rd year guys to take a step up.  Jones, Dillard, JAWW, Herbig, maddox, sweat, barnett, Pryor, Malaita, avery, edwards......it's a big list with, what looks like, a load of talent.  But results need to come often and consistently.....

No football this year

It's going to take a major trade of several players coming and going for me to even consider this draft a wash.

Howie messed up big time if he doesn't have a trade up his sleeve.

Too late

It's a failure. No way back.

The eagles must think a lot of these second/third year players are ready to contribute.  It’s incredible that I can’t wrap my head around anything that happened so far lol.

Let’s hope some of these late round guys surprise us and Howie was actually the smartest guy in the room....

If Jalen Hurts becomes the next Russell Wilson and leads the Eagles to a Super Bowl win during his rookie contract.

Nothing less is acceptable.

Howie either being fired or restricted solely to a Joe Banner role for the finance side of things.

So many missed opportunities in this draft.

we might need Marty McFly and Doc Brown to accomplish making this draft a success....   🙂

Trading Hurts for Yannick.

They threw a lot of athletes and speed at the team after that. A lot of players to me who could do a lot of things from playing multiple positions and special teams. A lot of receiver help. So that position will be filled with competition. Hopefully out of it all at least one rises up to be legit.

Yeah like most others I was pissed and overreacted. Outside of the Hurts pick it looks to be a solid draft but we'll see. Hopefully the season kicks off on time.
