time2rock
Undrafted Free Agent Signings Tracker Tracking all the UDFA rookie news and rumors. By Brandon Lee Gowton@BrandonGowton Updated May 1, 2021, 10:48pm EDT Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports The 2021 NFL Draft is over! Now it’s time for undrafted free agency. All of the draft-eligible players who were not picked are now free to sign with any team. Feel free to use this post as an open thread for the next few hours as there will be some reports surfacing regarding the Eagles‘ 2021 undrafted free agent signings. We’ll use this post to track all of UDFA news and rumors. Check back often for updates. Do note that all of these reports are not necessarily official. Things can change and sometimes rookie minicamp tryouts get reported as UDFA signings. Still, this tracker should give us a good idea of which longshot players the Eagles will ultimately add to their roster. It didn’t take long for the Eagles to officially confirm their UDFA signings last year. It’s taken a bit longer in previous years, so we’ll see how this goes. Regardless, we’ll have scouting reports of these UDFAs up in the near future. Players who reportedly signed with the Eagles Buffalo OG Kayode Awosika Nebraska TE Jack Stroll Indiana C Harry Crider Iowa State DE Jaquan Bailey Georgia QB Jamie Newman Texas A&M Jhamon Ausbon Florida WR Trevon Grimes Quick thoughts Newman is an intriguing add. He was No. 174 on PFF’s top 300 big board. The Eagles only had Jalen Hurts and Joe Flacco under contract so Newman is automatically QB3. Ausbon overlapped with Eagles wide receivers coach Aaron Moorehead in 2017. Grimes is a big target at 6’4”, 218 pounds. He has familiarity with Eagles quarterbacks coach and former Gators OC/QB coach Brian Johnson. https://www.bleedinggreennation.com/2021/5/1/22414908/undrafted-free-agent-signings-tracker-nfl-draft-2021-news-rumors-players-udfa-eagles-rookies-updates
PoconoDon
I like Grimes' potential, especially in the red zone.
