Two more guys are Daniel Bituli and Nigel Warrior, both of whom are just that.       Bituli can play all over the defense and on special teams, will probably end up as a box safety.        Warrior (who wouldn't want a guy named Warrior) will end up as a safety as well, but played corner and safety for Pruitt at UT.       I'd take either one on my team.

From what I read he is a speed guy and that is definitely needed. Hope he contributes somewhat immediately

I like this pick too.

Looking at video, he has an underrated skill I haven't seen with the other WRs- switching sides for ball carrying mid-stride in the open field as needed. Some RBs in the NFL don't even do that.

Yup A lot of chatter about watkins as an eagle target and most had him going 6th 7th round. Glad howie was able to get some extra picks and nab watkins.

Good draft pick, both in terms of fit and value. Coaching will be the difference maker here.

Hopefully we found a good one in Moorehead. We can’t keep changing WR coaches every year.

I think given the moves the last few days it's imperative that Moorehead is a good one. He's got a lot to work with there. I guess the issue may be how he's going to develop players he can't get his hands on?

Speed is great.....but it don't mean sh-- if the routes suck, can't track the deep ball or can't catch consistently.......I keep hearing echoes of shelton gibson and mack hollins.

Hopefully, the new receivers coach can develop these guys into guys who can contribute....

Yeah I mean if Hightower or Watkins end up on the roster as long term WR #5 or #6 and can contribute on ST then it's a good pick?

Maybe its just the one video I saw but I dont see his combine speed on the field. Hes not getting much separation. Even after the catch he is getting caught from behind. Maybe he playing against some really fast dbs. Nice high pointing, decent hands, not a body cather which is good, don;t see much on crisp route running. Will be interesting to see how his speed looks in the nfl.

Who was his QB though.? If his QB isn't very good or accurate that will affect that separation.

Just going by the video I watched, just one of course, the QB was throwing well. Just the DBs were pretty much right there with him. He made nice hand catches though. I do see the quick burst and acceleration after the catch but seams to still get caught from behind. I think he ran faster in combine then his game speed. But could be just that one video. Have to see more.

Watched another, def better separation plays in that video. The DBs do play back a bit so could be one reason why of course. I do like his hands. Like his burst. I do high Hightowers run after catch ability on but Hightower I hate the body catching from him. Watkins does use his hands which is nice to see. 

First impression is that he sounds like a guy who thinks about his craft and will work to get better:

Yeah... the coaching is key. Hopefully these guys are ready to put the work in to get better.

It’s not like they didn’t have their pick of wr coaches too, like Sanjay lal, Hines Ward. I believe Bobby Ingram and Antwan Randle El turned them down. So they must’ve really liked Moorehead cause there were alternative options 

Hopefully they Let Watkins wear 87 in honor of Pinkston lol
