I hope they don't bring Clement back. If we do it'll feel like a major let down as it'll mean that we didn't address the position.

Hyde and Lamar Miller are still out there. May work in a rotational system given the wear and tear they have had. I'm guessing they're probably looking for way more than people are willing to offer which is why they are still out there.

edit: Never mind on Miller didn't notice the ACL injury.

I'd take either and it's why I wouldn't be keen on Clement coming back. It's time for a change for us and for him.

Yeah. If they pull off getting Hyde and Griffen next week on short term deals. This off-season was outstanding.

Yes please on Hyde

Griffen?

If they haven't signed Clement yet there's a reason. They may bring someone else in next week after the compensatory formula is no longer an issue. Hyde is still out there. Big guy with receiving ability. May be an option on a short term deal.

I believe the compensatory aspect ended at 4:00 on Monday.

Comp pick formula doesnt apply anymore. Ended on monday.

Hyde is ok, so is clement when healthy and he and the eagles have familiarity.

I dont think RB is that big of a need or is a need that is difficult to fill.

Im fine with the current group couldnt hurt to add a few more guys for competition

Speaking of him, what is the status on Clement?  Is he healthy to play this coming season?

ok... thought it was next week. Warren doesn't look half bad

Yeah i liked Warren pre draft, was surprised he wasnt draft and glad he signed with the eagles.

At 5'9" 225 hes a bowling ball of a back with pretty good speed and feet and not a bad receiver out of the backfield either. His nick name " Truck" is pretty cool too. Ill be rooting for him.

Well... here's the competition for that 3rd or 4th spot.

Couldn't Find any 40 times on him... does he possess speedzzz?

He didnt run at the combine, all he did was bench, not sure if he got hurt or what.

His tape he looks to have good speed for his size hes not a 4.3 guy but hes not a 4.8 guy either.

Im guessing 4.6 range.

He shows good burst to and through the hole tough to tackle because of his low center of gravity combined with bulk.

Hes got pretty good feet and contact balance and hes a pretty good receiver but hes not a super explosive runner.

He reminds me of travis henry.

He was a work horse in cinci behind a pretty average o-line.

I think hes got the size Doug P likes i have no idea if hes any good on special teams but as a backup if he wants a roster spot he better want to be.

When Clement is Healthy hes an asset.

doug P has said in the past that he wants to carry lots of RBs because its a rough game and RB is a rough position, so if clement warren and killins all show out in camp pre season than its possibility he could keep all 5 or at least 4 of them.

Functional speed. He has a little wiggle too. Noticed he mainly carries the ball in his right hand though.

It would be great if Holyfield or Warren turns out great in pounding the ball up the middle.

Killens as a kick returner is intriguing.  Although that part of the game is nearly phased out.

- Iowa State OT/C held AJ Epanesa to 1 tackle and 1 QB hurry.

- The Eagles gave the center from Western Michigan over $100,000 signing bonus.

That and I’m wondering if they won’t put Reagor back for kickoffs. I know he did punts at TCU, honestly don’t recall if he returned kickoffs also.

They might get him back there sometimes because he's a weapon with the ball in his hands. I think they'd prefer someone else to be the main returner though.

reagor on punt returns sounds great. they barely get returns on kick offs these days so doesn't really matter whos back there for those

Yeah I mean I can certainly see Reagor being used in some situations. Perhaps Desean at times too...
