October 29, 20213 yr I guess it's unbearable and too outrageous for school kids to learn about George Wallace. Oh the horror. I say . . . segregation today . . . segregation tomorrow . . . segregation forever. It is as old as the oldest dictator. It is degenerate and decadent. As the national racism of Hitler’s Germany persecuted a national minority to the whim of a national majority . . . so the international racism of the liberals seek to persecute the international white minority to the whim of the international colored majority .
November 1, 20213 yr Jesus Christ, right wing fear mongering is completely out of control. They're redefining the AG trying to defend school board administrators who have been verbally and physically attacked by SOME small number of bat-crap insane parents as an attack on free speech. Because I guess free speech now means the rights of parents to threaten the lives of unpaid low-level civil servants.
November 1, 20213 yr I don't understand what CRT is. But I heard about it and it's something I don't care for. 2 hours ago, JohnSnowsHair said: Jesus Christ, right wing fear mongering is completely out of control. But they want no repercussions for the mob attacking them. What gives?

November 2, 20213 yr There is only the White Version of History. To teach kids CRT about Frederick Douglas or Harriet Tubman is just too damn painful. The real story goes something like this... The real story is, that some White Folks brought some black folks living in Africa over to America, with the offer of free housing and free food in exchange, for their labor. The White folks treated them well for 400 years. Then some Rhino carpet bagger from Illinois tried to tell us that we couldn't use our work force no more. Well that didn't suit us, so we decided to break away from their system of government and start our own. As a result, we sustained a terrorist attack at Ft. Sumpter. That started what we Call the war of Northern Aggression. Our boys fought valiantly to preserve their way of life. Those damn Yankees then started using illegal immigrants and gave them guns and started marching them south. Because the glorious Southerners didn't have the same influx of man power, we ultimately lost the war and our labor force. Our Labor force then abandoned us. As a result, We have been holding those former laborers and their descendants accountable ever since. Pay back's a beotch. This is the only acceptable version our history.

November 4, 20213 yr SEL is entirely different have we seen people claim they are the same or is that just a butthurt snowflake?

I've seen people arguing against CRT in every school board meeting, despite the fact that my district has taught nothing even approaching the things they're claiming are CRT. They've been told time and again that our district has no CRT or "CRT-like" curriculum, but they don't believe it because Tucker and co. tell them to be afraid. Right wing voters are by their nature more easy to motivate with fear.

That's the point. There aren't any grade schools teaching CRT, yet there are parents all across the country demanding their school boards remove CRT from the classroom. Ok, it's gone. It was never there to begin with. Whatever these parents don't like, whatever they are uncomfortable with, they are labeling it as CRT and demanding something be done about it. Instead of wasting time and breath yelling at school boards, parents should be spending time talking to their kids. Then they will know what's being taught.

Humans are most easily motivated by fear. Period.

We even have advocates out here in Indiana lobbying boards to include crt so you guys are being rather disingenuous. the greater point to take is that parents largely dont trust teachers and school admins anymore. Which they probably shouldnt
