The issue is simple. No one is teaching CRT, which is a post-graduate level theory, to first graders. But, the morons making lesson plans have been exposed to some of its tenets, and they decide to incorporate certain aspects of it into new lesson plans which divide kids by race. The issue is the teachers and administrators who don't understand things like CRT or anti-racism and try to adopt it into the curriculum in order to be on the "cutting edge" (i.e., woke). Letting idiots try and apply concepts they don't actually understand is dangerous -- especially when they are influencing young minds.

Exactly, that plus the few actual activist type teachers who understand and really do want to drive a far left agenda and who've been empowered by the woke nonsense.

those few activist type teachers should save their activism for when they're outside of the classroom.

He won because the optics said he approved of parents taking an interest in and having an influence on what their kids were taught in school as opposed to the other candidate where the optics said the parents shouldn’t have a say at all.

I wouldn't say not being taught, I would say not widely being taught. Loudoun County VA was enforcing "CRT" (and I use that term loosely) principles in their curriculum.

Here's one parent objecting to that decision.

I argue that is their intent all along. Talk as long as possible to stall the meeting, so they can sue after they are cut off.
