July 15, 20214 yr Maybe the laws have changed since I was young but I used to carry a pistol when I fished, hunted, or went somewhere to target practice and held a special permit to allow that when I was 18 anyways.

If people want it to be 21, then make that the age for the draft, voting (which would require a Constitutional Amendment), smoking, etc. Otherwise, let 18 year olds have a beer.
