Posted July 19, 20214 yr I'm visiting here. Home Base is in East Palo Alto. I'll be there a week next week. Already looking at Monterey electric bike tour, and something in Napa Valley, assuming its too late to make reservations, only looking at wineries that have no appointment.
July 21, 20214 yr Alcatraz tour is awesome and creepy. I highly recommend it without a tour guide. Just grab the headsets and play the audio as you tour it. If the Giants are playing at home, definitely go to a game. That’s the best ball park I’ve ever been to.

I did mine in December though so sunset was like 4pm. I don't know if they do the same tour when sunset isn't until 9pm

The Monterey Aquarium is a cool place to visit. A hike across the GG Bridge to Sausalito is fun then take a Ferry Ride back to SF. Check out shows at the Great American Music Hall, a Visit to Berkley is always fun, and you may find some cool street music there, the Calistoga Hot Springs is also a fun place to relax. Gallo in Napa is open to the public and has a huge vineyard though the wine is average. There are some smaller gems to check out there. There's also some great hiking and biking to there as well.
