Lot's of that is rumors and dramatization that gets out when things get messy. The divorce had to happen but most people around Baltimore would have told you this had the potential to be an Andy Reid type situation where both could have success away from each other. But unlike Reid who's one of the offensive grand masters of the quarter century, Harbs is schematically dependent on both sides of the ball so he had to land cutting edge coordinators. Instead he hired has been Nagy and never was Dennard.

Outside a couple strength assistants he didn't raid anybody Baltimore wanted to keep either. All of this on top of the initial worry that frumpy, goofy ol Harbs might not connect with Dart.

Oh no, I'm telling you the Giants problems run deeper than silly finger pointing from his old job. This is why I don't rate coaching hires until the top 4-5 positions on the staff are hired out. Everybody was on harbs D when Giants hired him but it's already aging like milk. Meanwhile Buffalo fell on their faces out of the gate but ended up with a really nice pairing of Brady-Leonard.
