I drink Schmidt's. Have since I was 14. I'm 40 years old now. Schmidt's is no more. Sucks. But times change. If I cant get Schmidt's, I'll go Miller High Life, or Coors Light.

Why do you beer Snobs always poo poo these beers, and make it a point to tell us  that do drink these beers that you don't drink them.

I'm wondering this because I'm at a bar, and a random person just says "That's not a real beer...this is a real beer."...and proceeds to go on about the fancy IPA hipster beer he's been sipping all night.

I'll never understand you beer Snobs.

People love calling themselves snobs about something and really it's just liking something that isn't as popular. My friend loves his screaming music and he loves going around saying he is a music snob......

Nah, you just like sheety music and want to be special for it.

Try some other beers and decide for yourself. After trying some different stuff I have found that those beers that you like taste kinda watered down. That said drink whatever the F you want

Absolutely everything that is considered mainstream is poo-pooed here on WU. Food, music, beer, TV, you name it. It's how people make themselves feel special.

Do you know what... I very much believe there are different drinks for different occasions.

Sometimes I want a nice light refreshing beer so I'll have a nice lager. Sometimes I want something with a bit more depth to it so I'll get an IPA.

There's times, like a bbq, that a cider does the trick on a hot day in the sun. And there's even a time for heavier drinks like stout and real ale.

And then there's time for pure grain like when the Eagles play

Win or lose.... I still booze

Can't say I've tried pure grain...

You are inferior men for drinking such swill

Are people who drink IPAs beer snobs?  I get an IPA at ball games, at the grocery store, etc.  they’re everywhere

Not even close. Beer snobs are those who dive into micro brews and rarities of different kinds of beers and will never ever have another domestic beer in their life. They are way above the human race to race another snob to have as many different kinds of beers all around the universe. They are better than the rest of us, you have no chance

Yeah like even Sam Adams makes an IPA and I wouldn’t be caught dead drinking that.  If it’s on a map and people can buy it at Wegmans, it’s not snob worthy.

I feel like you’d get along great with Johnny Lawrence.  He only drinks Coors banquet.

Uncultured swine!

I'm a beer snob.  And a Whiskey/Bourbon/Tequila/Wine snob as well.  When you're in the liquor industry and get exposed to a large assortment of products over the years your palate evolves.  I'll probably never drink a 'regular' BMC/variant beer again.  As Eric Idle once described American beer years ago before the first micro beer boom, "It's like making love in gondola.  It's F'ing near water".

Coors Banquet is mighty tasty.

Can't wait for the new season.

Twenty years ago I feel like IPAs were hard to get.  But now I go to a baseball game and they have them on tap.

Lemme guess they’re also $25 for a pint at the ballgame?

Nah, they're like $13.  But I guess the folks paying $9.50 for a Bud Light are getting a better deal.

$13 at a sports venue isn’t bad at all actually for an IPA, I’d definitely spend that over a light beer any day

Bud/Miller/Coors tastes like a globalist corporate elite profiting off of a vat of bland grain water, slapping a brand label on it, to make bank while pushing out the cheapest product possible. Their goal is market share. To produce and sell as much product as they can.

Craft beer tastes like a connoisseur tinkering with ingredients to make an excellent product. They want to win you over by the quality of their final product.

What you want to consume is your choice. I'll always choose the craft beer.

I'll pay $13 and enjoy it, over $9.50 and suffering through it.

after the first two of any drink....are you really suffering anymore.
we've all mad dogged multiple times and chased it down with private stock haffenreffer.

If I have the choice I'm always going to drink the craft stuff.  Tastes light years better and there's thousands of really good brews.

But if I'm at a party and it's only Miller or Coors, I'm not above it I'll drink it just fine.
